She sat upon her high chair, as always, listening to what they had to say; they being the people who work for her. She finally was getting annoyed, someone wasn't doing as they were told so they went to her to complain. 'Those ignorant fools' she thought. "If you don't fix the problem, and I have to get involved via my son and his pet, or personally, then there will be problems, and your likely to have a very short lifespan" she said simply, glaring down at the speaker. She said her son and his pet, referring to Jakob and Zach, Zach always followed her son around so they often called him Jakob's pet. She sighed rubbing her temples as the next person approached her.
"Ma'am, Boss, I think you want to hear about this" the young girl said. She was young about a year behind Jakob, but had authority.
"What is it?" She said impatiently.
"It's about your son, the one that's been gone for years, Joshua" the girl said.
"Really, what about him?" She asked now intrigued.
"We found him, he was looking for us, with a group of people, all with powers." The girl said reading off a paper of the information she had received.
"Really? Did Jakob talk to him, and does his friends posses powers?" She asked shifting in her seat smirking slightly.
"Yes, they all do, and Jakob has talked to him, well he spent a few minutes in a room with all of them, he has become quite fond of the kid, Drew" the girl told her.
"I must speak with my son now, go fetch Jakob, and his pet" she said simply, waving the girl away.
She was then alone, thinking to herself, 'so, I've finally found him, after his deadbeat of a father kicked us out and forced me to leave my children, that fool'.
A few minutes later, Jakob entered with Zach directly behind him, "you called for me m-boss" Jakob said simply.
"Yes, so tell me about Josh, what have you learned?" She asked him.
"Well, he is a leader, and his power is illusions, like fathers" he said simply.
"And what about Drew, I've heard you've taken a liking to whomever that is" she said simply.
Jakob's face turned slightly red, making her smirk at the sight, "sh-He is also a leader of the group, and best friends with Josh." He said finally.
"Well, what's his powers then? You can't tell me didn't touch him" she asked.
Jakob blushed more, "well, I couldn't tell, it's not normal, doesn't make much sense." He said.
"Alright, that will be all, I'll fetch you after while, in the meantime, collect more information" she said dismissing them.
"Ah, my son, how long it's been" she said to herself after everyone had left.
