After concluding with Dan, Nicole headed for Ben's room with a grin. By the time she finished with him, he was going to wish he never messed with her. Nicole thought with a smile but frowned when she remembered he wouldn't know that she was deliberately messing with him. That would make it even more amusing. She thought as she resumed smiling.
Ben, who had his back to the door after he had finished his phone call with his mother, turned to the door when he heard a knock.
Who could that be? He wondered as he went to open the door.
He narrowed his eyes when he saw Nicole standing by the door. What was wrong? In as much as he would have enjoyed her company, he couldn't afford to waste any more time, and he didn't like being in a hurry talking to her.
He was just going to tell her to come back in the evening when he must have returned. He thought with a pleasant smile which was directed at Nicole.
