"What are you going to do now?" Richie was asking Dan as Claire returned to the living room with the lawyer, who gathered his documents and left the house.
"Everyone excuse us. I want to speak with my son," Claire told all the family staff who were still around, rejoicing at their good fortune. Following her husband's funeral, it seemed like she had come to accept her husband's death finally, and so had finally stopped crying. Gone was the weak woman who had been seriously mourning her dead lover a week ago.
Richie and Kat stood up to leave alongside the rest, but she waved them down, "You should both stay," She said with a sigh as she started pacing around the living room.
"Mom? Is everything okay?" Dan asked, even though he knew most of her reaction was due to the Will the lawyer had just read out.
"What do you want to do about what the lawyer just said?" She asked, looking at him with a concerned frown.
