Dan listened patiently as Zach told him all the details concerning his discussion with Bella and Joan. He had asked Zach to keep an eye on Joan's house just in case both Bella and Joan decided to sneak out after he had left or in case they were attacked. So Zach was calling Dan from a safe distance while keeping his eyes on the house.
"Hmm. I think that's a good idea," Dan said with a nod.
"What are we going to do about it?" Zach asked, sounding very concerned.
"I'll let you know once I come up with something. For now, just keep an eye on them. Bella can be pretty stubborn when she wants to be, so don't let her make a move on her own," Dan said before disconnecting the call.
