Drake quickly hid his confusion with a smile as he moved closer to Joan's desk, while Joan blinked as she looked at him. She hadn't expected the face behind that voice to look this handsome or for him to be so tall. He had amber-colored eyes, and his smile revealed a cute set of dimples.
Drake looked her over. She was pretty and didn't look as tough as Bella did, but she looked innocent and pure. Was it possible she was Bella's sister or friend? Were they trying to play a fast one on him? He mused.
They both stared at each other for a while before Drake extended his hand for a handshake, "It's nice seeing the face behind the beautiful voice," Drake said with a small smile.
"Same here," Joan said with a shy smile when she noticed the way he was looking at her with interest. "Please sit," She said, pointing to the seat opposite her.
