Maya was still smiling thinking about Aiden when someone knocked the door.
"Come in."
As the door opened, Ashely came in, "Did something good happened? Why are you smiling in the times of such crisis!?"
As Maya kept her phone back, as she avoided the question and said, "I had asked you the report on Lucas yesterday... where is it?"
Ashely sweated a bit as she answered, "I am sorry, but the information is not complete yet so I can not report it to you at the moment. It may sound as an excuse, but I think the Lucas is very careful in taking these steps. I was not able to find anything of much importance."
If it was any other day, Maya would have been unhappy with the incompetence of Ashely but today Maya's reaction surprised her very much.
