"I will be in your care!" Aiden said as he smiled cheekily at Maya.
"She is helping you out of kindness!" Mr. Smith scoffed when he saw how his son was behaving. "How can you be so shameless!?"
Aiden felt a bit wronged, "But I helped her, right?"
"Huh! Just because you helped her a bit, you think you should be accepting her help? And like you said, don't be a burden for her!"
What had gotten into his son lately? Tyler was feeling that Aiden had changed a lot, A LOT, only in these few weeks.
Earlier he used to be unwilling to even say a few sentences and look at him now! He was actually justifying his actions!
"Exactly! What do you mean 'BUT I helped her'? If you did not help her, I would have killed you myself!" Even Riely was very protective of Maya now.
