"I need to give you at least some explanation for the things that I have caused for you..." Mr. Parker said. "I think it has been more than twenty years now, right Ren?" Mr. Parker looked at Ren as he nodded.
"It was about twenty years ago your mother had come to me informing me about you two. I did not know of the existence of you both until then."
Since Maya had already known this fact for years now, she was not that affected, but for Sofia ,this was shocking.
Mr. Parker then continued, "You know before I had seen both of you, I had a lady that I loved... It was just that our families did not agree to our relationship so we could not see each other openly."
"We used to see each other only when we had gatherings with close friends, which used to be held only a few times a year. Only some of our closest friends knew about our relationship. That lady's name was Janet."
