The next time Yuliang woke up, it was to murmuring.
He squinted at the blinding light of day and pulled himself up to a sitting position with a grunt. He didn't know how long it had been this time, but the staleness in his mouth, the gunky feeling of his eyes, the ripe odour of sweat and citrus that clung to his body, and previous experience led him to believe that it had to have been three weeks at least.
"Yuliang!"
"Yuliang, You're awake!"
Yuliang grunted, offering Eric and Elys a jerky nod.
Seeing the concerned looks on their faces, Yuliang realised he needed to actually needed to verbalise to get his thoughts across. Not everyone could read his mind from his micro-expressions and body language like his brother could.
"I'm fine. Just going to take a shower. Feeling fucking disgusting right now," Yuliang finally said as he slid off the bed and stiffly shuffled out of the room.
