Chapter 4 - Decisions

With his hands red he closed the hatch of the Harlequin and walked home.

It was cold on Theodore's journey he could see his breath swirl in front of him. The oil street lamps were lit so every fifth step was in the light. He needed to think. He needed to think about Sebastian. Sebastian who came in to his ship, used his mug and then insulted his town.

He stepped through the door of his home and as soon as he did he smelt the fresh vegetables that were on the stove boiling. As soon as he took his boots off he stopped thinking about the stranger on the submarine. He sat down and ate fresh vegetables with chicken that his dad must have bought from the other stall owners.

Theodore then went to bed. He didn't really dream of anything, which was strange because he normally did. Putting the same boots and jacket on as the day before he made the excuse of fixing the controls of his submarine in order to not work at the market. His dad let him go.

Theodore figured, as he walked down to the dock, that he shouldn't take Sebastian seriously as he hadn't know him in a while. Theodore figured that he was just tired and that he would apologise to the blond boy, that is if he was there.

And, just as Theodore left him, Sebastian was on the beanbag with a book and the infamous mug of tea.

"Well good morning Theodore. I assume you want to help me get to King's Gate?" Sebastian stood at the foot of the beanbag, he put the mug down on the floor.

Theodore stepped towards he work table full of tools, along with a scuba suit. "You're going to have to step out the submarine"
