Delvin took me to a special place later in the evening. It was like a garden in the park that was protected by magic.
"I have been growing this monkshood for years," Delvin said, "So I think it should be okay for you guys."
"Can its poison be used to coat a sword?" I asked.
He nodded. "Sure."
"Oh, really?" I jumped excitedly. Then I paused for a moment. "Can you do it?"
"Yeah," he replied with a smile. "The poison needs to be extracted from the flowers, then newly made swords will be dipped into the poison, which will make it coated with it. The poison will still be effective when used on your enemies."
"That's amazing." I said as I bounced up and down. "This means you have to follow us back home."
Delvin took a deep breath. "I can't follow you home princess," he said slowly, "I don't have the courage to face my wife, child and king after leaving them."
