Chereads / The Lord of Principles / Chapter 30 - The Shadows

Chapter 30 - The Shadows

As the years go by, John Harding stood behind the shadows of Wayne Grove.

In the 1940s, Wayne was more regarded than John with regards to his service for the Americans in World War 2,

In the 1960s, his service within the investigation of the JFK assassinations was well more seen that John's efforts.

In the early 2000s, Wayne saved a lot of people in 9/11 than him.

Now, he is more than Wayne now that he has the power of resurgence.

But was that enough for him since his powers are temporary as long as the other line is connected, so does his?

When would he be something more than relevant?

When would he be able to get something that is more acknowledged than anyone else's?

You know, the truth is that John Harding is a real witch, but gaslighted to be nothing and to question thyself about his capabilities to do something more than he could imagine. But even though this is the fact, Aurelius is not the culprit of this shame and disbelief, and untrust John Harding is, but the culprit is the thing we feel whenever we are conscious of the things we aren't. and the culprit is also us.

If I were to give John a piece of advice about being persistent to being something you're not is that you don't have to. Because if you continue to do so, it will wear you all the way down until such time that you cannot pull yourself together. Never ever make a comparison to anyone around you because we have our own differences, and battles to fight on, and we should not make time to entertain those insecurities, but make the most out of us.

He has the power of resurgence indeed, and he is as immortal as Wayne Grove and Meghan Atwood. He is indeed smart and talented, but he does not know it yet. All he knows is that he could be one of the next Lord of the Hewlett Academy, and he knows that he can be a good one.

But then, danger lurks within the walls of the academy. So as hatred, false hopes, and treacheries that we may encounter in the next chapters.

Sadly, he would be the first victim of this invisible atrocity.

What more can I say except that he could be the Lord's first victim.
