Rosalie Montgomery called Meghan to say hi.
Rosalie is Meghan's aunt, who recommended to Meghan to go to the Hewlett Academy to be safe for her. No one should know what she's really is, and what she has done before everything came to a start line.
Rosalie lived out the coast of where Meghan is. The academy stayed at New Orleans for years and it would take a lot of money per minute to talk to her niece. Rosalie was talking to her via cell phone.
"So how was the academy? Did they treat you well?" Cliché question, but of course she has to know her niece's situation even if she's far from her. Rosalie treats Meghan like a daughter. Meghan knows that Rosalie is more a mother than just an aunt than like her real mother.
"So far, so good. The people here are friendly." Considering that the students in the academy only consist of seven students, including herself, two staffs, one headmistress, and one unlikely Supreme, Meghan thinks that the people are nice.
Not all of them.
"That sounds good, honey. Did you talked to your granddad?" Rosalie implied.
Meghan winced as she heard the "granddad". She hasn't told her he died.
"Haven't got the chance to talk to him. He died, Rosalie."
An initial and stifled gasp was heard from Rosalie's line. Then she said, "When? How?"
When Meghan got in the academy, she had stayed for like two to three days? And Meghan has so many things to discover. It was like a slap on her face when she learned that her grandfather died already.
"No one told me when and how either. I haven't talked to Clementine about that." Meghan said.
"How's Clementine? Is she fine?" Rosalie said and coughed softly.
"Have you took your medicine? You're still smoking non-stop, are you?"
"Don't worry about me, girl. Worry about yourself."
"Miss Clementine is great. Why do you ask?"
The door opened suddenly and Aria and Diane came in.
"Come on, we got to go," Diane announces, a bag was clutched on her arm and she's dress in her black three-fourth sleeve dress that the length of the skirt is until her knees and her hair is tied honeybun.
"Where are we going?" Meghan asked and there's still Rosalie on the other line. Rosalie can hear their conversation.
"Just get dressed and we'll tell you in the car." Aria's in her grey cardigan, white blouse and grey jeans. She's wearing her boots too.
"Sure, just let me finish with my aunt." Meghan then said to the phone, "Gotta go Rose. We're going somewhere."
"Okay, take care." Rosalie didn't wait for her reply and shut the phone.
"Get dressed." Diane said and turned to get out of the room, but she holds back and turned to her heel, "Oh, and wear black." Aria and Diane got out of the room.

Somehow Meghan had managed to find something black for her to wear.
Going to the casual, she wears her skinny black jeans, black hoodie with a Batman printed on the front, and her white high cut Converse. Tomorrow she will go to the cheapest dress shop and buy something just what Diane and Aria wear. To look sophisticated and gallant. On the other hand, she looks like elementary kiddo back then.
When she got down the foyer, she was surprised that a white Hummer car was waiting for her and also the butler was holding the back seat's door. She didn't think that the school has this kind of car. Wait till she sees the garage.
She got in the car and saw Diane behind the wheel and Aria sitting beside her. Weirdly, the two girls have their hats on.
"Sorry, I'm late. I find it very hard to rummage through my clothes. I don't really wear black."
"That's fine. Come on, fasten your seat belts because we're in need for speed."
Diane drove away and pushed the pedal to speed away. "I like your jacket, Meg. Where did you get it?" Aria said, looking at the mirror.
"It's a gift from a friend," Meghan told her. Silence for seconds and she asks, "So, where are we heading?"
Diane looked at her through the mirror, sunglasses on her, "Hospital. John and Wayne got in an accident."
"Really? Are they alright?"
"I hope so. God, Clementine's going to be mad about this." Diane said as a matter a fact. "Girl can you call her so that she can know about this? It's not like we can get through this." Diane said to Aria.
Aria reaches her phone from her pocket and dials Clementine's number. After a while, Aria only hears a voicemail, "It goes straight to voicemail."
"Just leave her a message and tell her where we going."
"Hi, Miss Clementine. John and Wayne got in an accident and we want you to be at the hospital soon. You know where it is. Three o'clock. And we want you to be the one to talk to the doctors." Aria press the end call button.
When they got to the hospital, Diane put her black birdcage veil and Aria with her black cowgirl hat.
"What's with the hats?" Meghan asks.
"Just walking on the ramp with this one. Don't I look gorgeous?" Diane said.
"Black gorge," Aria muttered.

Red Chester High Hospital was where John and Wayne were rushed to by Percy and Dale, and also where Lewis Fitzgerald's body was embalmed.
The girls from the academy are walking through the corridor of the hospital, walking like they're flashing their clothes that needed to be worn when you want to be in style. But Meghan's is out of the question. Some of the employees look at them in awe. Some are having recognitions to the girls, some are whispering or talking about them or some didn't care about them at all. Mostly the girls from the Hewlett Academy loves to take over the dance floor, without the dancing. They should have a poster that says, "TAKING OVER THE FLOOR SINCE 1866". Hewlett Academy was established for young witches, and most of the people, normal people, didn't know that it's a school for witches. Witchery is real. Witches are real, and they're absolutely cunning and stunning.
Meghan went to the nurse's station and asked for the rooms of John and Wayne's.
"I'm sorry, miss. But there is no John Harding or Wayne Grove confined here." The nurse says.
"Can you check it again? There must've been some mistake. Diane can you ac-". When she turned around she saw them walking away and took a fast stride to them.
"They said they're not confined here. Maybe we're in a wrong hospital." Meghan said.
"Yes, they are." Diane continues to walk, her heels tapping on the ground, "And I can feel it."
"We have to make some Great Wall of China to not reveal everything in this world," Aria said.
"What does that mean?"
"It means that we need ourselves still to be hidden in the shadow."
They stopped in front of the door. Diane reaches for the door and walks in.
Meghan saw four men talking. One is Percy, and his boyfriend and the one sitting and the other smoking and leaning on the wall. Meghan stared at the man smoking.
"Well shit, you're late for the fun."
Aria gasped. "Wayne? You're fine now? H-how did this happen?"
Wayne pointed at John. "Thanks to my bro. We didn't need the stitches and all the doctor bullshit. Passed out a while ago but the nurses here are keeping me alive."
Diane looked at John, "Wait. What does Wayne mean?"
"Can we just go to the cliché part? Asking him how is he or whatever?" Aria said.
Meghan was still staring at Wayne.
Wayne felt that someone was staring at him, and looked at the person and saw Meghan. Then his eyes go through many expressions, and one of them is recognition.
Heartbeats are fast.
"Are you fine?" Aria said.
"I am more than fine. And something happened."
John lifted his shoulders and said, "I discovered something. After this tornado piece of shit happened to us, I was hurt badly and wanted to sleep. But for a few minutes, I feel fine. I remembered being brought to the emergency room and they scissor off my shirt-damn I love that shirt. Makes me look like a model."
"Anyway, when they try to find the scar at the side of my stomach, they found nothing. No scars, no evidence of a gunshot." John was biting his lip.
"W-wait. You mean…"
"Wayne's bed was near mines and I saw that there were some medical instruments attached to him, and so I tried. I have to. Maybe I could save Wayne. And obviously…"
"He has the power of resurgence," Percy spoke, heads turning to him.
"Which means…" Diane said, biting her cheeks
"He has one of the acts of Principles" Aria muttered.
"Did he just obtained one of the powers of a Lord? How many of them? Can someone remind me of this?" Diane said.
"It's the Acts of Principles. They contain the most powerful powers and one of them is a resurgence, which is part of the Acts of Life and Death" John implied.
Silence wrapped the room in a moment.
"Sure. Good thing you have that. You didn't looked so beat." Dale said.
Meanwhile, Meghan and Wayne are staring at each other. Meghan was examining Wayne's features. A little ache was in her head because something flashed in it, like recognition. Meghan only met Wayne for the first time, although she has heard about him but nevertheless. So why was Meghan feeling something familiar to him?
Wayne was staring at an awkward, and beautiful girl. Most of his taste is hot girls, and that he could bang all day, all night. Wayne was staring at a girl that is not like who he's with before and long after. Wayne's cigarette reached his fingers and flinched when he almost burned himself.
"Ouch," he said and dropped the stub of a cigarette.
Meghan touched his fingers, "Are you fine?"
"Yeah, don't worry about me." He wanted to pull his fingers from her but something was telling him to let the girl hold his fingers. He wanted the girl to suck his fingers. But of course, he cannot tell that to her. "You're the new kid? What's your name?"
Meghan looked at his eyes, "Meghan Atwood. And yes, I am new, but not a kid."
He smirked, "Wayne Grove. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Meghan just thought that it was the first time she spoke with Wayne. Why was she having a weird feeling that she's happy to talk to him? By his looks, his magnetic electricity, and his deep manly voice the make her knees shake, something was wrong with her. It's like she felt it before. Like there was a connection between them, and they've just only met.
"If you'll keep staring at each other, you should do it at some other room, because you're making a scene here." Percy implied.
Then when Meghan was pulling herself from Wayne's magnet, it's the time that Wayne holds her hand and stare at her, "Shut up, Percy."
The door opened, and Clementine came in.
Diane smiled, "Miss Clementine! It's great to have you here."
"It was hard for me to find your rooms. I have no choice but to use my powers for some circumstances." Clementine said.
"Everything's handled, Miss Clementine. We talked to the doctors and they said that they could put a discharge notice for them." Percy said.
Clementine looked at John and Wayne, "Speaking of which, how are they?" She touched John's cheeks.
"Oh, we're fine, Miss. Actually John saved Wayne." Aria speaks.
Clementine looked at her, "John? How was this possible? Wait, first things first. What happened to you two exactly?"
"We just finished watching a movie and while we're walking to our own cars, someone shot Wayne and the bullet got through him and shot John too," Dale said.
"I saw something. I used my body to shield John's," Wayne said and then he looked at his stomach and rubbed it, "But I guess it needs a lot of more work-out for it to be made of steel. But you know guys, even if you touch these babies, it's hard." He grinned to Clementine.
"Okay. When you have received the discharge notice, I want you to leave the premise clean. I want you all to take a shower, and have a good night's sleep. I'll find out today who's behind this assassination attempt."
"And I don't believe that we don't have just a small enemy. Because someone small will not go to the big guys."
"What do you mean Miss Clementine?" Meghan said.
Clementine looked at Meghan, "What I mean is that… we're dealing with something big. And they know what can be our weakness."
Clementine arranged her position, "I must go now. I have some errands to run."
"You're not going anywhere today, love."
Everyone turned their heads to the one who speaks. They saw Rob York, leaning against the doorway.
Clementine turned and lifted her eyebrow, "Rob. Mr. York, what are you doing here? How did you find me?"
Rob entered the room with grace, "I found out that you're going to have a special meeting without me. You're doing things behind my back, especially when I'm the Supreme. And I just said a while ago at the breakfast, that you don't mess with me." Rob looks at Aria, "Right?"
Aria cannot open her mouth to speak.
"Get away from this, Rob. I can handle everything-"
"Honey, you've been handling everything for these children in this room." Rob stepped back and rub his hands on his coat, "I've handled the hospital bills, discharge notice, and whatever shit they needed to sign up," Rob rolled his eyes, "and you can all go home now and ride your own ponies. Tomorrow, wake up at nine in the morning, sharp. We'll have the gathering tomorrow. Boys and girls. We'll have a lot to discuss."
Out of every course, Clementine was enraged by how Rob just took everything in control. She knows Rob, and there's nothing to stop him.
"And as for you, my dear," Rob touched Clementine's cheek but she swats it away.
"Don't touch me."
"Are we going home yet? Or we're going through this drama scene?" Wayne said.
Rob looked at him, smiled at him, and turned back to leave the room.
"I still don't get what happened today," Dale said, breaking the silence.
"We'll talk at the academy. But for now, pack your bags and fix yourselves." Clementine went out of the room.
"Is it me or nothing made sense today?" Dale said.
"It's not just you," John said mutually.
