To Larce, and Sundae.
Whom I never gave up on, and how I wish that you could the same for me too.

They're having dinner.
Their usual dinner consists of extravagant dishes; Roasted turkey with potatoes, carrots, and celeries in it, squash soup for everyone, dessert cakes, baguettes, and muffins are all invading the big table.
Lewis Hewlett Fitzgerald, the Lord of the Hewlett Academy, is located at the head of the table. There's a hat on his head and shades of white to grey drapes around his beard. He would always wear a formal suit even if it was just an ordinary day. While reading a newspaper, the headline was about some celebrity that was found murdered yesterday.
Across the long table that can accommodate 18 people is the Headmistress of the Hewlett Academy, named Clementine York, who seated straight and watched every student of the academy eat the viands of their choice. Her hair was golden blonde and she was dressed in long sleeve black and white combination blouse with a black slack and a shiny black 3-inch leather shoes. She had a pinch of blush on her cheeks and dazzling crimson lips. She is called the headmistress, and she's very apt to be a one. But then, she was put into that position because she is the only daughter of the Lord.
Three men came into the room. One is called Percy Reid who took a seat and placed his feet on the table making the utensils clatter. He leans on his seat and opened a book with one hand and waves his fingers that made his wine glass float against the air, which he usually does when he's relaxed.
And then there's John Harding. He is the smartest of all the students enrolled in the academy, but he was also the most ridiculed and weird person. His mind is stored with unbelievable intelligence, he was believed that he almost invented air. Forgiving the figures of speech, John Harding is well suitable for the position of being the Lorde. He got himself a pile of mash potatoes but chose to not eat it yet, instead, he made it into something; the mashed potato was morphed into a sculpture of Michelangelo. Touché, then he picked up his spoon and scooped the head of his creation and eat it.
Wayne Grove was the third guy who came in. Boredom plastered on his face because of what he sees every day. The students use their abilities, right in front of the Lord's face, and also wear mostly dresses for girls and a very formal suit for some guys. He wasn't the type of person that cares about people's reaction. He wears what he wants, eats what he wants, goes to meetings when he wants, and all he wanted to do all by himself. He doesn't want to go to this dinner, he was just forced by John and Percy a while ago. On the contrary, he was an asshole too.
Loud laughter roars around the dining room and it came from the two girls. One girl named Aria Mansfield was dressed in a domestic and suitable light purple Victorian dress while the other girl, Jean Desmond is her name, is also dressed in a Victorian dress but without sleeves and straps to hold her dress but the corset around her breast, with ruffles around her dress and its color is light pink. They're having a chit chat about some lead singer in some bands that they wanted to see shirtless or naked. They didn't give an excuse or any approach to the Lord's or anyone and just sat on their respective seats.
The gramophone is turned on, and a singing old man sings inside the whole room. Jazz music is what she likes and Diane Clemency is wearing a long sleeve blue shirt of a man and dances with the music. She rubs her left hand at the side of her body while she rolls her head and at the same time tugging the collar of her shirt a little bit with her other hand. And then she starts dancing with sequence and passion. The boys in the room, Percy excluded, are enjoying the view of her smooth white legs and a little hint of her lingerie.
Wayne, Aria, Jean, John, Percy, and Diane are considered as The Elite of Hewlett, which means that they are the candidates to be named as The Lord of Hewlett, the headmaster or headmistress, and pre-headmaster of the students in the Hewlett Academy that gives the place to use whatever magic they wish to use, but the position is now reserved for Jean.
Which is why they're having dinner right now. To announce and inaugurate Jean for the position.
Clementine's chair creek onto the floor as she stood up and said out loud, "Alright everyone, would please settle down?" She smiled. And she hopes that she'd been heard.
But everyone has their minds, including the Lord, whose eyes still tucked in the newspaper.
She took a deep breath and...
All of the heads in the room turned to her and was stopped from whatever they're doing. A wine glass shattered onto the floor that Percy's playing with. She looked at the sound of the phonograph and saw Diane froze on her spot. "Diane, honey, shut that vintage off, Will you?" Said
Diane's hair is frozen draped all over her face, but her eyes, nose, and lips are seen. Everyone is frozen and they cannot make a way to move.
"Please?"
Then everyone unfroze. Diane turned off the phonograph and took a seat between Aria and Jean. Percy's feet are not on the table anymore while others are seated properly on their chairs.
Clementine exhaled and clasp her hands together while she walks to the girl's group, "Now .that everyone has their attention on me, I would like to say that," she holds the chair of Jean, "Congratulations to Jean, she would now hold the position as The Lord." Clementine and Jean were the only ones that are enthusiastic about the announcement, the only ones who only clap with their hands, but not the others.
"But of course," Clementine approaches The Lord, "Our Lord of the academy will do the honors for the pre-inauguration for you, Miss Desmond." To her father, Clementine says, "shall we, Sir Fitzgerald?"
Lewis smiled, not because he was happy that Jean will be The Lord, but because the inauguration consists of drinking with his bottle of Jack Daniel's. He, to be honest, wanted to retire to his position and fuck everything all and go back to his hometown and drink many rums and die happy. He just realized that being the Lord of the Academy is boring. Like he gives a fuck, anyway.
"Certainly, Miss York," he stood up, took off his hat, threw it away and clasps his hand, looked at the table of where his bottle of Jack Daniel's at, which is near the big and dusty floor to ceiling window. "Percy, float that fucking bottle of rum to me, will you?"
Bored, Percy waves his hand, and the bottle of rum flies through the air and lands onto the table. While Lewis was reaching for it, the bottle suddenly levitates along with the wine glasses of every person and filled it with rum.
"Rum on a wine glass? That is so lame," Diane said as she catches the wine glass, and throws the glass onto the floor, leaving a splash of rum and shattered pieces of the glass.
"You should not bother me giving rum, I don't fancy it right now," John said and the wine glass filled with rum slowly lands on the table. "I should get back to the botanic laboratory," John said as he strides away from everyone. No one acknowledges his excuse.
While everyone else is with their glasses, they started to cheers but the Supreme chugged the bottle of Jack Daniel's for himself, and everyone watched him, some bemused, others amused.
"Cheers everyone," Clementine said cheerfully. Everyone sipped their rum a little bit, except for the Lewis, and Wayne.
Wayne wants more of the rum but he was very disgusted now that he tasted dirt and mold from his glass.
Percy didn't finish it, as well as Aria, Jean, and Miss York. Although Diane tried to finish her drink, the bile was rising through her throat. She puts her hand against her mouth and runs away from them to avoid the smell of rum.
Percy followed Diane and Aria and Jean are now gone, which means that Miss York and Sir Fitzgerald were left.
Lewis Fitzgerald loved his Jack Daniel's right now. But as the last water line goes through his esophagus, he felt a warm feeling. He felt that the darkness came to him.
He also felt his aching heart beating too fast.
Later that night, Lewis committed suicide by jumping off from his balcony. When he was on the ground, his eyes were open and there was a smile on his face.
