Chapter 1 - 001: It's a cursed game

"Hey, aren't you guys bored?" a girl with pale skin, her eyes shining light brown looking at her friends. "We should do something."

Yeah they were bored, having no homework to do. Plus, their English subject teacher is absent today which they don't know what the reason is so the substitute teacher came in and took over the class.

"Do what?" a girl who has a frizzy brown hair tied up in a ponytail asked.

The girl groaned, not knowing what to do either then earning a look from her friends. She frowned and puckered her lips a bit. "What to do?!" she then turned to her friend beside her. "Hey, Chris. What should we do?"

Her friend, Chris raised her head up and placed her index finger on the book at her table. "Study." she said bluntly.

"Dang it, you're no fun."

She turned around again to face her other friend who wore a pair of glasses. "Bonnie, what to do?"

She nudged her shoulder– bringing her back to reality. Bonnie blinked her eyes a few times and looked at her friends with a lips slightly apart. "What?"

A girl who wore a blue hijab sighed and shook her head. "Cristy, why don't you kindly shut your mouth and relax?"

"Oh shut up, Syuhada I know you're bored too."

"Let's play a game!" another girl who wore a pair of glasses exclaimed, earning the others' attention. "Oh my gosh finally Leah! What game?"

"I don't know if you guys knew about it but like.. do you guys know this one game called Lang Ren Sha?" Leah started, watching their facial expressions that said "confusion". "It's a game where we, villagers trying to catch the werewolves befo–"

Her explanation got cut off by a slam on the table, startling the students inside the classroom, even loud enough to get the teacher's attention. "Is anything wrong?"

They quickly shook their heads, making the teacher nod in response and do her own thing.

"Who the fu– fool slam the table?"

"Are you dumb or dumb?" another girl wearing a pair of glasses snapped at a girl across her who has thick eyebrows.

"Rude." a girl who wore a purple hijab muttered.

"Anyways, the game that Leah mentioned is interesting! Let's play that!"

"No." the same girl who snapped at the girl across her spoke.

"Yo, Nichole. Calm your ass down." Bonnie shook her head and nudged her shoulder.

Why is Nichole mad when Leah mentioned about the game? Does that game have a relation with her? Bonnie sighed, finding it hard to read her and managed to calm her down before she snapped at everyone else.

Noticing the looks that her friends gave to her, she eventually sighed in defeat. "Fine, sorry."

"But I won't play the game." she continued. Confusion was written on their faces as they stared at her with full curiosity. "This game is no good."

"What's so bad about it? It's a game."

Nichole took a deep breath, consoling herself so she wouldn't be panicking. She also had a second thought on telling her friends because she knew it will intriguing them. "I-it's.."

"It's a c-cursed game."
