Deric pulled her in front of him.
His thumb softly caressed her fingers.
"But what's important is.... am I wanted by you?" he whispered in a soft baritone voice.
Ambai gazed down at him with a shocked look. She really did expect him to pop such a question. Thinking back, she really did not have any special feelings for him. But now.... somehow she felt her heart being swayed by him.
Her whole body suddenly felt light and a layer of silver shining lights enveloped her. It slowly started to spread from her heart to their connected hands.
As soon as her light touched him, it turned golden and his body starting shining as well.
With her mouth wide agape, she gazed at this. This time there were no tingles, no electric shocks. Just warmth that spread throughout her body.
She really did not know what the special light was, but this light made her feel things that she did not expect. It made her feel powerful. And with his hand in her's, she could feel that she could rule this world.
