The weekend came soon and Ambai and Rebus got ready to go out for their planned vacation. It was not so grand. They just planned to spend the weekend in a cosy villa right next to the beach.
Of course mister Rebus owned it.
Ambai glanced at him with a small smile. "Are we there yet?"
Rebus gently held her hand while steering the car. "In a while. Are you bored already?"
"Nope, just a little tired."
"Sleep. I'll wake you up when we are there," Rebus pulled out the blanket from her lap over to her shoulders.
"Hmm..' Ambai leaned against the comfortable chair and slept peacefully.
In her sleepy state, she felt a small amount of soul energy swirl inside of her. But Ambai was deep asleep to notice it.
Suddenly, the car jostled, waking her up.
Ambai sat up, dazed. She could still feel the lingering energy in her body. "Rebus, could you feel that?"
He looked at her confused. "Feel what?"
