I woke up at the sounds of birds chirping outside and got up and sat on my bed
*Sigh*
That was a long night...One of the longest in my life...I don't even know where to begin last nights horror
Normally if someone starts crying you just need to say something to cheer them up or stay by her side until they stop crying. It seems like a relatively simple job and it actually is, compared to what the person crying is going through
You might think that the same thing happened with me and Kaede and the matter got over quicky and easily. But boy are you far from the truth…
It was utter madness last night
Ever since Kaede had entered grade school, she has never cried in front of others, not even once. Even when she sprained her leg while she was cycling 3 years back, she didn't even shed a single tear because of the pain. It was clear from her face expression that she was going through a lot of pain at that time but she held it all in and even joked about it. Even a full grown man would have atleast shouted due to the pain but she didn't even do that
Take my father for example…Once he stubbed his pinky toe on the table and he started crying like a baby. He even went to the hospital, saying that he must have broken his bone. After he came back from the hospital with a pink stick-on bandage on his toe, he acted like a like a he had fractured his foot and made me do all his work while he lazily sat on the sofa
Now that is what I call a 'weakling'. I know he's my father and I gotta treat him with respect but what else can I say? The truth is my 13 year old sister is more manlier than my 34 year old father and there's no denying it
The point is my sister never cries unless she is watching some heart breaking drama on Tv. Even that is a big nuisance but that's a story for another day
Having seen the Kaede that never cried no matter what happens for the past few years, I had completely forgotten that she was a massive crybaby when she was younger
She would literally cry for everything and wouldn't stop until someone pampered her like a baby. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING! If someone touches her dolls she would cry, if I changed her favourite tv channel she would cry, if my mom made her some food that she didn't like she would cry. She even cried because I was giving her scary look when I was just looking at her
Even when she was a baby she would be crying non-stop in the night and my parents would always have blood shot eyes in the morning due to sleep deprivation. Basically she would cry if anything in the slightest upsetted her
She was a crying monster
And let's just say that crying monster which I had feared in the past, came back last night and that too in full power
It started of with some normal crying onto my chest while she was holding onto my shirt's collar with both hands for support. Both of us were still standing in that same position as before
I patted her on the head and said some words to cheer her up. It was going normally and I thought I could calm her down easily
But the real shit started after that…
At first she was using my shirt to support herself and I was perfectly okay with it. Although my shirt would get a few stretch marks, I didn't mind. But somewhere along the way, Kaede must have gotten tired from standing so long that she actaually took both feet of the ground and was literally hanging on me using my shirt as a solid handle bar. It looked like she was doing pull ups on my shirt. It kind of hurt when the shirt was rubbing the back of my neck but I ignored it thinking a little pain is nothing compared to helping my little sister out, so I let her hang on me without saying anything
But I realised that it was huge mistake when my shirt couldn't handle Kaede's weight and literally tore into two pieces-the back part and front part, as she fell to the ground holding the front part of it in her hands. I was standing there half naked with only my pants on, while my sister was crying on the floor while holding my torn shirt in her hands
I didn't even get any time to react to what happened as she started crying even more and kept on saying 'Mommy!...Mommy!'. I thought I could quicky change my clothes and then handle her, but Kaede grabbed on to my leg and wouldn't let go go
She latched on to my leg, like a monkey hanging on the trunk of a tree and wouldn't let go no matter what I did. I even shaked my leg vigorously and did some roundhouse kicks but she was sticking onto me like some chewing gum on a shoe
She was probably doing it because she didn't want to be left alone for a second. It was the same thing back then too, she would always want someone to pamper her and would start crying more if she was left alone. I figured I had no other choice but to walk to my room with her on my leg, which I did until I reached the stairs
I guess Kaede noticed that it would be a bumpy ride if she was on my leg while I went up the stairs so she suddenly climbed up my body like a cockroach and was somehow on my back in a matter of seconds. I don't know where she got all that upper body strength from but I'm sure she can climb a mountain with ease, looking at how she was moving around my body like it was climbing platform
I thought it would be easier to move, now that she was on my back but I regretted it immideiataly when she started choking my neck from behind to support herself on my back. I didn't know if she was losing her grip or something but she was holding onto my neck as if her life depended on it. I tried to loosen her grip on my neck but she she just made it tighter
When I was almost about to faint due to being choked by my little sister, Kaede let go of my neck but used the hair on my head to hold on which caused more pain. I just dealt with it thinking it was better then being choked and made my way up the stairs. I'm pretty sure I lost a patch of my hair in that short but treacherous journey up the stairs
I somehow made it to my room and put her on my bed, while I put on a new T-shirt. But as I was putting it on, I felt something wet and gooey sticking onto the back of my hair. When I checked to see what it was, I found out that it was Kaede's snot and tears. She rubbed all of it on my hair when she was hanging on me
When I tried to go to the bathroom to wash it off, Kaede started crying louder and was holding up both her hands as if she wanted me to pick her up. She was basically acting like an alarm that would go off if I went too far away from her
Having no other choice I went to her and she quicky leaped on to my front and held me tightly while she cried. It looked like I was the mother Monkey, while Kaede was the baby Monkey hanging on my chest
Like that I tried to go to her room but her crying became louder when I did, so I changed route and tried other rooms which she also didn't like. Whenever I walked to someplace where she didn't want to go, she would start crying louder. It was like I was playing the hot or cold game with her
She usually wouldn't do this but now she was acting like a baby that wanted to be spoiled and I had no choice but to obey her
After 20 minutes of walking around the house like that, Kaede decided she wanted to sit on the sofa in the living room, which we did. The amazing part was that she was still crying throughout that whole ordeal, which made me believe she was somehow carrying an unlimited supply of tears with her. Also because she was crying directly into my ears, I felt like I was going to turn deaf
On the sofa, Kaede cuddled up into a ball next to me and cried while I held her. This might have been an wholesome sight if she wasn't using my shirt as a tissue and wiping her snot all over it
At this point my shirt was entirely covered in her snot and tears and it felt cold and disgusting. I wanted to change it but I knew the same thing would happen again so I refrained
I thought she would be thirty from all the crying so I quickly went to the kitchen and got a glass of water for her but I ended up slipping on her snot which was on the ground from the time she was on my leg and fell down pouring the water all over my face
I just lied there on the floor looking at the ceiling, thinking how some bodily fluids were ruining my life
Kaede must have gotten lonely from sitting on the sofa all alone because she quicky ran and jumped on my tummy which almost made me vomit out whatever there was in my stomach. She then lied on me like I was a bed and continued to cry while I patted her on the head
After that I just gave up and laid there exhausted, hungry, sleepy and in need of a immediate bath and bathroom break. I was at my mental and physical limit and just wanted it to end
After 3 hours of continuous crying she finally stopped and the gruelling horror show I was experiencing was finally over
Kaede never actually stopped crying but just got too tired and fell asleep. After that I carried her into her bed and tucked her in. Even in her sleep, she clenched my hand tightly and I had to carefully release her grip on me so that she wouldn't wake up, which went on for another 20 minutes
What I learnt from this whole ordeal was that I should never make my sister cry. AND I MEAN NEVER!
After that I took a piss which I was holding in the whole time and took a long hot bath. I then made some cheese and ham sandwiches for myself since I hadn't eaten yet and watched some anime as I ate it. By the time I went to bed, it was already 3 in the morning
I guess I'll be sleeping in class again
I wonder if Kaede is okay after last night. Her eyes were swollen from all the crying and she looked like a mess. I wouldn't mind her taking a day off to get over it. Well it all depends on what she wants to do
I looked at the balcony doors in my room and saw my curtains being illuminated by the bright sunlight
"Looks like it's a sunny day again"
I got up and stretched my arms. I'd usually start my morning with a workout but I've been too busy with the moving, so I haven't had a chance in a week. Even the workout equipment hasn't been assembled yet
The movers who transported our furniture were pissed when they had to move all the training equipment. But I can't blame them since even the smallest dumbbell I owned, which had the lowest weight in the equipment was a 60 kg
Most of the weight lifting stuff I owned looked the same as the normal stuff but they were diffrent. I had mine custom made from Germany which were are all made from a alloy 7x more denser then normal iron which increased their weight but the size remained the same. It took 10 people and 2 hours just for moving all the equipment
One guy even busted his back trying to lift a dumbbell all by himself. They complained that it was too much weight but they all shut up when I lifted the stuff they were struggling to do so easily. I'm not a cruel guy so I paid them extra for all their work
I went to the sliding door of my balcony and pushed the curtains aside. As usual I saw the neighboring house blocking my view. The curtains on that house's balcony remained closed
I wonder if they came back home. Well they better come back soon because I don't know how long I can keep Kaede away from those chocolates. She's been eyeing them for a while now
I slid the glass door open and took in a deep breath
"Ahhh…The morning air sure feels good!"
Although it was really sunny, the temperature was really cool. The air was much cleaner then the last town I was in and it had a fresh feel to it
Must be because of the lush hills surrounding this town. I heard there were also a few rivers and lakes nearby. That would make a good barbecue trip
Maybe me and Kaede can have one but It would be too lonely with just the two of us, so maybe she could invite some of her friends to come along with her. I bet that would a really fun tri-….Wait a minute!
I also have friends now don't I! I can invite them too!
I can't believe I totally forgot about them. I think I got too used to this friendless lifestyle
But not anymore! I'm a changed man now! Why you ask? It's because I Yamamoto Yuuto, have gained friends again. It's like I can see everything in a new light now
The sky looks bluer than ever, the birds seem like they're singing a song, the people walking down the street seem to be in a good mood and there are some white panties hanging on my balcony railing
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ! ! ! ! ! !
PANTIES! WHY THE HECK ARE THERE PANTIES IN FRONT OF ME?!
