Her cheeks became bright red and her eyes were radiant. She looked away because she was flustered
Seems like I said what she wanted me to say. I know this girl is lonely and is longing for someone to call a friend. I don't why she doesn't trust others but now she seems to trust me and is happy she got what she wanted. We both suffered the same way and were also relieved the same way. So I know what I should do to slowly change her ways of thinking. I just hope she's not stubborn to accept it and is willing to end her agony
While still looking to the other side she said…
"Do you think you can become friends with a girl like me?"
...as If she was challenging me to a high risk game
You can't live your life without taking any risks so I said
"I definitely can"
She turned towards me again and looked at me as if she was taunting me
"Can you still say that after hearing what I have to say?"
Looks like she stating the stakes of the game. If I can't accept everything she says, she's the winner and remains the same as before. But if I agree and accept everything she says, I'll be the winner and win the status of being her friend. A big risk for a big reward, it's like I'm gambling in the casino called ''friendship'. I like the sound of it
"I'll take anything you bring to the table, like it or not"
And the game begins...
