Oliver queen went on a yacht with his father Robert queen the yacht crashed and broke down everyone died except Oliver and his father went in the life raft and there was only enough food for 1 person so Oliver's father shot himself in the dead and said"right my wrongs son"and next thing Oliver new he was on a island called Lian Yu( it's mandarin for purgatory) Oliver meant some interesting people on the island one of witch is Slade Wilson a military soldier sent on a mission to fine something unnamed and he was told to go or his family would be killed so slade went him and Oliver where friends for a long time then some type of military where there on a expedition for a drug called mirikuru it is also mandarin for miracle it was made so it can heal all diseases and injuries what the Chinese didn't figure out is the side affects it essentially drives you mad and gives you no hesitation to kill. Slade and Oliver found it first so the military was pissed and slade used the drug so no one else could take it he killed everyone on the military ship and almost killed Oliver and they both where on the bridge of death until Oliver put a arrow through his eye and they both passed out the mirikuru healed all of slades injuries except his eye.
