"What were you thinking? You need to stay close to me or Nathaniel."
"I need to find Reynald. The coward needs to face us. And this is no time for Nathaniel to have to worry about me."
"Then you should have stayed by me," she heard Nathaniel say as he struck down another knight.
Rose looked at him but she kept going. Thomas and Nathaniel fought the knights as they moved as one to get to the castle. While they were fighting, another knight grabbed for Rose. Why were they trying to take her? She finally realized that they were taking her to the castle. She brought up her sword and went to fight him when another knight engaged him in battle.
