Dominique wouldn't even look at him. Nathaniel was sitting at the table she always sat at while she set up the system and ran some songs through it. He heard a couple of songs that hit him as they definitely fit the situation they were in. Maybe he could ask her to dance? He could try talking to her while they danced. Yeah, he liked that idea.
The night wore on and the band played. Tim watched Dominique as she sang. She was always so into the music when she sang. Her facial expressions told a story while the lyrics spoke to you. After the session was over, she went and sat with Nathaniel. She had turned the music on so it would play and everyone could dance. He waited until he heard the song he had heard her play a part of earlier.
