"Dom, you really don't understand how these people work. You will go down, rather you like it or not. And I have tried to leave them before. I was injured for a long time. When I first broke things off with Roxy, I tried to leave then. They broke a lot of bones and left me bleeding. The only real way out of it is death. Maybe I should've let them kill me. At least I wouldn't have had to deal with them anymore."
"Don't say that, Tim. If I've learned anything, it's that everyone matters to someone. So, if you take that life away then you are only hurting someone else."
Tim smiled sadly as he said, "I don't matter to anyone. You were the only person I ever had, Dom. Sure, I had friends that I hung out with but they weren't my true friends. They left me high and dry when I needed them. I don't have any family. Growing up in a home for boys taught me that real quick. You were the only family I ever had."
"Oh, Tim, that can't be true."
