Josh stopped moving and sat Chris down. Karen stopped and looked at him. She knew he was getting tired. Supernatural strength only went so far. They also didn't have any more water so they were becoming parched. Josh was linking with someone. She assumed it was his dad. She started walking around where they were when the wind picked up. She smelled wolves just as they came bursting through the dense patch of trees and circled them.
"Shit!" Karen yelled.
'Dad, we've been surrounded,' Josh said as he ended the link.
