Laura and Michael sat beside Makayla's bed. Michael was plotting ways to kill the people that had done this to his family. His brother and father were in the next two rooms. Michael had been going in between rooms for hours. His mother still hadn't shown up yet. He wondered why. Shouldn't she be here with her family? Nicholas had come back hours ago and told him that she was handling a rogue she'd kept alive. Nicholas had left a wolf with her to drive her back. She should have come here and let someone else handle the rogue. He looked at Laura who was talking softly to Makayla about recent events.
