Now, his wolf was clawing to get out and claim his mate. Michael had only smelled the delicious scent once before and that was the night Laura had rejected him. It hadn't been as strong then. Now it was overpowering. He had to get out of this van. There was no way he could ride with her all the way to the wedding and back.
"Dad, I can't go. I'm just going to get out and have someone drive me home. I might just run home as much as possible."
