Of course, that hadn't stopped her from asking them but she hadn't gotten the answers she had really wanted. She had told Melissa before that Jacob had burned Nathaniel's house to the ground and she had offered to let him stay at the club in her office since she felt like it was her fault that it had happened. She let her know that she and Tim were staying at a friend's place and when they came back, she would give her a heads up. Melissa was frustrated but finally let it go.
Now, Dominique and Tim were sitting in the little bunkhouse that they had been brought to. Dominique was looking through everything, checking the place out. Nicholas said he wanted them to stay here but she felt more like a prisoner. Why couldn't they leave and go to their houses and come back once Tim had made a decision?
"Dominique, come sit down. Why are you so jittery?" Tim asked.
"Because I don't like being cooped up somewhere I don't know. Why do we have to stay here?"
