"They are bringing your man here. He has changed back to human form in his unconscious state. He is bleeding badly and has some very serious wounds. However, I feel great power coming off of him. If he is willing to fight, I think he will be okay. Our Alpha is fighting the Alpha of your man's pack. He has been weakened by the vampire. It won't be long now. Nicholas is playing with him now."
"How do you know all this?" Dominique asked.
"I am Beta. I hear the thoughts of my pack. I was charged to look out for you," he replied.
"What's your real name?" Dominique asked.
"My name is Tobias. You do not remember our Gamma telling you a little while ago?" Tobias asked.
"No, I'm sorry. I was scared out of my mind. I hate heights," Dominique said, as Tobias lowered her down on to a tree trunk nearby the infirmary.
