She realized that she had flipped over in her sleep and she was looking right at Tim who was sitting up with his back against the headboard. He looked really pale but at least he was awake. Dominique slowly sat up so she was facing Tim. His wounds looked even better than they had before she had fallen asleep. The wounds on his face were gone. His arm was completely healed. His stomach and side were still the shiny pink they had been before she went to sleep but she supposed that the new skin growth would take some time to look like the rest.
"You're awake. That's a good sign. How long have you been up?"
"You must have had a fitful dream. You were tossing and turning. So, I woke you up. I've only been awake for about five minutes. I just needed a minute to sit here after I sat up. My side and stomach are still really tender. I should be okay by tonight," Tim replied.
