I gained a 610 experience point which means each of the goblins gave me 150 Exp Point each, for a level 10 monster 150 Exp is kind of appropriate. If I do this at night the amount would be double, with this my future already seems bright. The Bronze coin I got was kinda shocking, just hope this world use the money dropped from the dungeon, or perhaps I can sell this to the 'Shops', I look over the cards and the card properties appear.
Name: Virility UP
Type: Passive Skills
Rank: A
Rarity: Very Rare
Description: As a man Virility is important, Be the legend amongst man, For your partner satisfaction this skill is a must-have!!.
".....what a dedicated description…..Learn it..
I crush the card, and the skill immediately appears on my status board. This kind of skill is a must-have, but seeing that the ranks were A, it made me wonder that probably there will be garbage skills that have an unnecessary high rank.
"..now that I think about it…can I harvest this goblin?..what happened if I just left these carcasses here?..".
The curiosity got the better of me, I can't help but wonder about it, it's been 3 minutes passed nothing happened to the Goblins carcasses still. So I decided to take one carcass into my 'Inventory', it goes in without any problems, so I assume I might be able to somehow fiddle with it later. I left the male goblin carcass on its place and pulled out my Smartphone and started timing it. Nothing happened even after half an hour passed, I wait even longer, then after 1 hour, the carcass just simply melted like ice cream on the hot asphalt, the meat down to the bones melted just like that, the entire melting process took about 5 minutes. I opened my 'Inventory' the female Carcass was still there intact, this confirmed that I can harvest the dungeon monster as long as it was under 1 hour or I took the corpse inside some kind of space that doesn't belong to the dungeons.
Seeing my experiment has succeeded, I leave the dungeon entirely. The unwanted experiences already made my mood falls, I just wanted to clear my head for a while and entered the dungeon once again at night. Everything goes smoothly as I have no encounter whatsoever on my way exited the dungeon.
"Now..I remember hearing something about the usable part of goblins before….ahh, here it is…a fudge...I can't read…".
I knew that every monster got their usage even the poisonous one, I also remember that Fulaz once heard it from one of the villagers, so I'm sure the Orc Shaman might have some books about it and surely I found the book. As soon as I found the book, I come to me that I can't understand a single word in the book, also the writing was not in English, it's in Orcish, the character of the words was like a bunch of tadpoles throw at random. I grab another book and this time it looks similar to the alphabet, but instead, it's not it just a lot of vertical line and dots, I knew it's a human language. What do I expect a simple slave, of course, can't read, simply frustrated I decided to search my 'shops' to see if there perhaps a skill that enables me to read and understand these books.
"Oh..it's there….I guess all in one is better than a single language….".
In the 'Shops' of course, there are skills related to language comprehension there's a lot of it. There's even a skill on a turtle language, kinda useless unless you want to speak with a turtle. I buy the [Universal Linguistic] (A) which cost me 2 000 S-Coins, the good thing about this skill is it enables me to Speak, Understand and read any language in this world, that's why it cost me 2K S-coins when a single language was only 20-50 S-Coins each, it's kinda a bundle. It's better to have something that I don't need rather than to need but not having it.
"Ouh~...Female goblin is rare?..well that's surprising..now that's new..".
Now that I can read the book called "Collective Information of Monster in Aruna", apparently female goblins are a rare monster, the ratio of female to male was 1:100 kind of logic and it explains why the Goblins was a bunch of lustful little bastards. The book also said goblin meat can be consumed, and the only useable part of goblins is its blood which is one of the main ingredients of making a multi-purpose Antidote/Anti Venom. To be honest, I not keen on eating a bipedal monster and I'm not even interested to try, so I'm gonna just sell the carcass after I drain its blood. By the way, I finally found out that this world was called 'Aruna', now that I got the ability to read all the weird languages I will study them later, for now, I'm going to drain the goblin blood.
I've got my Butcher workshops near the river where I process all my prey, of course right now it's just a simple table and a simple wooden box at the side for me to store all the tools. When you lived in the forest, it's better to draw blood at least away from where you sleep, so that no stray monster will come near you. Draining blood from the goblin was fairly easy, I just hang it upside down, cut the major carotid arteries (decapitations), and just wait till all the blood gone from the goblin, it took me about 30 minutes and I got 3 litter of blood, and I stored them inside 10-liter plastic bottles that I have in my kitchen. Though I'm not going to need it now, I probably do in the future once I started to learn a Potion making or Alchemy.
Today dinner is as luxurious as it can be, a steak with mash potatoes or Pata roots, surprisingly the vegetables and fruits from earth do available in Aruna, but I got different names and the looks was a bit different. I somewhat found this 'Pata roots' when I was on the way here, unlike potatoes, Pata Roots have square shapes the smallest size that I dug out was about 1 kilogram in weight. Now that the night time is here, it's time for me to dive back into the dungeon.
Thanks to the earlier dive, the tension was a bit lessen, the Buff was still there but now I also got the X2 experience buff from my Elven bloodline and [Stealth] buff due to the night time. I cast the {Nature's Hide} as I move forwards, this time unlike before just as I move past the previous room, 1 goblin appeared. The goblin was wearing the normal template as every goblin in the game, a simple brown tattered cloth on its waist covering it's junk, on his hand a simple crude wooden club.
"Kii??…". (Goblin)
As I got close to it, the goblins were still unable to figure out where I am. Instead it still slowly walking deeper towards the dungeon, it seems that my [Stealth] status is working perfectly. The same as last time, with a thrust attack, my spear finds it's way to the goblin back neck. And it's just died before even knowing what's happening to it.
"Goddamn…that's plenty..".
As soon as I grab the Loot Orb, a notification comes that I just got 610 Exp points, it's immediately leveled me up to level 11 with another 220 Exp extra. I got another D grade monster core, 10 bronze coins, a Skill card called [Blunt Weapon Mastery] (D), and a weird item [Goblin Loincloth]. 100% loot drop will give you everything including the thing that you don't want. I stored everything inside my 'Inventory' including the carcass, then continued moving forwards.
As I explored the whole 1st floor of the dungeon I finally see the end of the floor as I found stairs leading downwards. The clock already at 5:00 Am, and I've walked over 1 kilometer, also by now I already reach level 18, it's simply the best feelings to have when you leveling in the pace that you wanted. The [Stealth] buff was overpowered for me, none of the goblins I fought even realize where I am. I curb my excitement and decide to end tonight sessions and exit the dungeon. Getting overconfident will be the downfall of me, I refuse to let my emotion be my misery. After getting out, I sold all the goblin carcasses which gave me 4 800 S-coins. I cleared out the unwanted items like [Goblin Loincloth] and all their crude stone weapons, I took a shower and goes to bed.
The Cycle of me Levelling at night and Researching at day will continue even after this month ends, set the goal of me reaching at least level 30 before I go down to the 2nd floor of the dungeon. I don't know how deep the dungeon goes, but I do not matter to me, I'm thankful just to the fact that I got a place for me to level up.
True enough, after 1 week I finally reach level 30 by only exploring a single floor of the [Goblin Den] dungeon. The loot I gained from the 1st floor alone already amass quite a plenty, I've learned new 3 skills [Blunt Weapon Mastery] which I gain from a Goblin carrying a wooden club, [Sword Mastery] from a machete-wielding weapon, and [Butcher] from a rare goblin butcher that carries a bill hook as a weapon, apparently 1st floor only have this 3 kind of Goblins, the female goblin, and Goblin Butcher is a rare monster that only appears once, needless to say, I gather hundreds of [Blunt Weapon Mastery] and [Sword Mastery] cards and D grade monster core, as for the drop item, the only use items that I found was [Healing Potions] (F), and the [Iron Machete] that I planned to melt into the iron ingot.
I'm not just going to stay on the 1st floor, I wanted to go even deeper whilst the [Dungeon Explorer] Buff were still on. I wanted to fully explore the dungeon before the buff goes off. With a heart full of determination, I head down to the 2nd floor.
"Looks like the goblins have improved now that I'm on the next level…'Appraisal'..".
Once I cast the 'Appraisal' the details of the goblin wielding a spear before me appear, its name was [Goblin Spear Warrior], a level 12 monster with 150 vitality points, the only skills it has was [Spear Mastery] (F). Still unlike the Goblin from the 1st floor, at the very least the goblin on this floor was wearing a leather armor, which is an upgrade, but still, the infamous [Loincloth] was there, at this point I already conclude that this is their formal attire. Still seeing a spear opponent made me wanted to challenge it, Expecting a battle, I revealed my presence by bashing its head using the shaft part of my [Iron Spear]. the attack causes him to lose 50 points of its vitality points and throw him tumbling forwards since I perform an attack my [Stealth] was canceled and I'm out in the open.
"KIIII!!!…KAAAA!!..KKAAA!!!…..". (Spear Goblin)
Losing a 3rd of its life made him furious, as he hastily gets up, he finally saw me. Fuming with anger, he grabs his spear and lunge at me, his move was so simple and rough, I could see opening everywhere. I hold my ground with my spear brandish, as soon as the goblin spear passes through mine, I knock it's spear aside causing the goblin to thrown to the side following the sudden nudge. I then follow up the moves with a swift slash to the neck cutting its head completely.
"Surely a rookie will never beat a Grandmaster…".
I was not even a challenge to me, I hope that every battle will be as easy as this. I took the [Loot Orb] and I got 800 Exp points, C Grade monster core, [Leather Armour], 1 silver coin, and a [Spear Mastery] skill cards. When you got a 105% loot drop, every defeated mob will drop everything they. As always I continued exploring until I find the stairs leading to the 3rd floor, the 2nd floor was just like the 1st floor, it only hosts 3 kind of goblin, [Spear Goblin], [Sword Goblin], and the new kind [Goblin Thief], of course, all of them got an upgrade to their types of equipment, they all wearing leather armor and their weapons were in better quality than the previous floor. To find the entrance to the next floor, just when the clock was at 3 AM, I finally found it, this time I decided to head downwards and continue exploring.
The 3rd floor was still like the 2nd floor, with the only additions that there's a new kind of Goblin, which is [Goblin Archer], of course, it dropped an [Archery Mastery], which I learned immediately because I somehow felt obligated since I'm Elf. Also on this floor, I noticed that the goblins have now changed their pattern, unlike before, now they started to wander in pairs. This alone made me break a sweat, I used to one-shot an enemy and overly depending on my [Stealth] buff when encountering multiple enemies at once it made me falter. I got nervous and make a few mistakes, which cause me a few bruises even with [Nature's Hide] protecting me, my performance was still unacceptable. I can't help but think that if by chance I encountered multiple enemies that somewhat on par with me or even stronger than me, I might be seriously injured or even die. Because of that once again I retreat from the dungeon and decided to spend another week on the 3rd floor before heading to the 4th floor.
