The doctor comes out to the hall to get me.
"How is she?" I ask
"I'm sorry Miss, but she's not doing well," he continued to say " There's a valve in her heart that's too small, that's what caused her heart attack."
I look at Gee, he looks back at me sympathetically. I feel the tears start to come and Gerard comes up to me and hugs me tight.
"Everything's gonna be okay. I'll be here for you through everything, I promise."
"Thanks, Gee." I say "Doctor, can I see her?"
"Yes."
I walk in and see all kinds of tube connected to her, I sit on the chair next to the bed.
"Hey, Gramma."
"Hi, Sweetie."
"I'm so sorry grandma I should have-"
"Hey, don't blame this on yourself it's not your fault, hun." She says
"Ok, thanks Gramma."
"it's no problem, hun."
"Grandma, I'm scared."
"I know, just try to stay positive." She says while smiling at me.
"I'll try gramma."
"I'm gonna go Gramma, but I'm going to make sure Dad can't get to you."
"Thank you, Sweetie, remember I will always love you."
"Ok gramma I'll always love you too."
I walk out of the hospital room and tell the doctor about my father and he says that my dad will not be allowed around my gramma.
