Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Welcome to Raion no Okoku

Log of September 18, 1945.

As I mentioned earlier, the use of the eternal fire crystal in order to kill Asmodeus drained my energy completely, accordingly, the envoys of the kingdom that we would visit in Raion no okoku took us with them. When I woke up I was in a room with palm tree walls, it seemed to be in a Hawaiian place, when I turned to see if there was someone else in the room I noticed that girl who had recently freed herself from the command of the devil, she was sleeping so peacefully. I waited for the others to arrive and once they arrived I asked the main questions, How did I get here? and where were we? Answers that would be, one of the warriors raised my unconscious body and took me all the way to the city where they would take me to a hospital, where I was now, and the city in particular was the capital of Raion no Okoku. Also, it was already clear the next step, to run into the queen of the place and ask for the whereabouts of old Hisao Tenshi.

Hekima: We recently talked with the warriors who led us here, they told us who the queen is, her name is Hanako Hamasaki, she is strong, brave and wise. Likewise, they told us that before requesting something from her, it is almost one hundred percent likely that we will have to fight her to do so.

Shigeru: I was in charge of requesting an audit with the queen, in this way we are already assured of being able to speak with her during her busy schedule. We must leave for your palace before nine o'clock at night, likewise, I must remind you that we are talking about a queen, so you must behave and bow before her.

Tokage: I took care of getting some supplies, I had to do several jobs but it was worth it, they have a lot of juicy and delicious fruits here, I had never tried something like that, well leaving aside the fact that I did not leave the house, still , you should try them.

As they spoke, the girl woke up and looked at us, she seemed incredulous of what she saw, as if she felt that she is still in a dream.

Shiro: Did I really do it? I am free?

Hekima: Yes, of course, if it hadn't been for your help, we wouldn't have had a chance.

Shiro: I... I don't know what to say, I'm sorry I was a stone in your way repeatedly... now I'm free...

Shigeru: So you made a deal with that demon?

Shiro: Yes, unfortunately I fell for his offer that he could bring my beloved back ... I ended up being possessed by the mask of jealousy without being able to have absolute control of my actions, but it was thanks to you that I was able little by little to make me aware of my actions and I decided to betray the demon that deceived me and turned his slave.

Tokage: And what will you do now?

Shiro: I will return to Gingetsu and live a new life, I will stop thinking about my problems and I will seek to be happy... or well, that is what I have in mind...

Hekima: Sorry for interrupting you, but do you have any other memories of serving Asmodeus that might help us?

Shiro: Yes, I didn't meet all of the allies of the demon Behemot but he mentioned that they were a total of five, counting Asmodeus.

Hekima: Hmm, at this point we have defeated two of them, so there are still three demons against us before arriving against Behemoth ... What else can you tell us about it?

Shiro: Another one of them has a servant like Asmodeus, he's a rare creature that can paralyze his enemies with a huge stinger on his arm ... sorry, it's the only thing I can remember ...

Hekima: And you don't know how long it takes Behemoth to regain all its powers?

Shiro: I could swear he said three months, you still have time, you must stop him! his lair is in the lands of Fumei.

Hekima: Thanks for the information.

As time passed, the girl said goodbye and walked towards a somewhat more distant port, as it was the only one available after the battle that devastated the other port .... Unfortunately, the news reached us that found dead that old sailor, he would have died due to the severity of his injuries during the crash of the ship, we observed a respective minute of silence before heading to the palace at the requested time. The palace was big like the one in Gingetsu but it differed in the style of construction, I could say that it looked a bit like construction of the Sumerians.

We entered after identifying ourselves with the guards, who opened the great gate of the castle, we crossed a few rooms before reaching the main room. There she was, the queen of Raion no Okoku, she was tall, brown-skinned, wore shiny jewels, had a scepter with a purple gem. Her gaze was imposing, it reflected absolute authority. The moment she saw us she made a kind smile.

Hanako: O honorable warriors from distant lands, you are to be the ones sent by Queen Margareth Balliol. I must tell you that you have surprised me, you have defeated two demons allied with our enemy Behemoth, you must be very brave.

Meanwhile, we bowed as a sign of respect, we waited for her to give us the floor so that we could ask our questions.

Hanako: It is clear to see what your purpose is, you seek to gather the crystals of the silver moon. Also, it is obvious that what you want to know is the whereabouts of Master Hisao Tenshi.

Hekima: Indeed, your majesty.

Hanako: Of course I will tell you the exact place where he is, however I want to first test the strength of those who will train with him to handle the crystals of the silver moon, it is obvious that he will need strong warriors for such work. Now let the brave warrior who will train with Hisao Tenshi step forward.

Without hesitation, I took a step forward and raised my face. The queen looked at me closely, approached me as if inspecting me, and then looked me face to face.

Hanako: You must be the human from the other world, right? Tell me, do you think you are ready to train with someone like Hisao Tenshi?

Giorgio: Indeed your majesty, I will do whatever it takes to stop Behemoth.

Hanako: Are you sure you can master all that power? That you will bear the pain in the fight against such a dangerous demon?

Giorgio: I will, as impossible as it may seem. I will make my heartfelt effort.

Hanako: Well, if you're not going to back down, let's see what you're made of.

The queen got into combat stance in the same way that I did. Quickly she directed a blow with her right arm at a speed I could barely dodge. When I did this I ended up getting hit in the stomach by the queen's left arm. She tried to kick me but I grabbed her foot and knocked her off balance. I proceeded to hold her with a grip that prevented her from moving her hands, although she freed herself from it using a kick and later throwing me into the air. I fell hard but got up and continued the fight, we exchanged attacks but eventually this had passed into a fight of resistance rather than strength. Several minutes passed, in which the queen's blows were focused on vital areas, if I lowered my guard I could even lose my life. I focused my attacks on the arms to block several blows and if possible, gain an advantage in terms of space and attack range. The minutes passed, almost ten minutes had already passed into the combat, it was too evident that the queen was the strongest in the kingdom, but eventually she fell to the ground in fatigue.

Hanako: Alright, you win, you're rock hard. Yes, you will be good with some training. You have combat techniques that I haven't seen anywhere else, you impress me... let's have another fight after you solve all this problem, yes?

Giorgio: If you like... now, do you think you could show us where to go, Your Majesty?

Hanako: Of course. Master Hisao Tenshi is on a mountain somewhat far from here, it will take them two days and one night to arrive. You have to go northwest and cross the desert, there will be some oases along the way, I suggest you rest and if possible spend the night near these since in a desert it will be your only source of water.

Hekima: We appreciate this valuable information that you are providing us. We retired to an inn so we were not wasting your time anymore, your majesty.

We said goodbye duly, we left the palace and divided ourselves in search of an inn that could accommodate us and a map in which to trace the most pertinent route. Once this was done, we entered an inn that received us kindly and we made an inventory.

We continue to advance in our journey, however we do not know what kind of enemies we'll find in the future. Either way, I hope to learn from this old man, Hisao Tenshi and be useful for the team.

End of the log.
