I woke up but soon stuffed my face in my sunshine colored blanket, I did not want to go to school today. My stomach hurt like hell, but I still went on with my day and decided to go to school, knowing I had an important mission to do. while on my way to school I was thinking about visiting Kumiko and what I was going to say.
Should I say something like, "Kumiko can you please tell me who Hibiki-San is?"
No that sounds like I like him or something. Before I knew it, I was in front of the stairs which lead to Kumiko. I did what I needed to and knocked behind the stairs. An entry opened up and I crawled through it. I saw Kumiko of course, but she was in her human size, which was quite surprising. She was sitting on her desk with her legs crossed, holding her clock necklace, probably seeing the future. In her human size, she was a little taller than me which was kind of weird for me to experience. Now, how do I start this conversation?
"Hey Kumiko," I said rather bluntly
"Why hello there, Ayaka" She responded glancing at me before putting her clock necklace around her neck. She looked busy so I was going to leave, but my curiosity got the better of me.
"Kumiko."
"Hibiki Azrail is human, right? You are not hiding something, are you?"
Oh gosh, I sounded too serious! What is wrong with me?! I thought while panicking in the inside.
Kumiko stares at me before responding with a big smirk plastered on her face.
"I have no clue since I have not met him. What makes him so off?" She says calmly.
"Well, I saw him dead in the old building. I think he was beaten to death with a glass bottle? But that's not the point. He went to school the next day and the teacher said it was a prank he pulled." I said as my expression softened.
"Well, I will send this little one to follow him all day~!" She says cheerfully as her will-o-wisp appears next to her.
"Can't you see the future?" I said curiously.
"Ayaka, he is human. You should stop wondering about him. After all, curiosity killed the cat..." She said mumbling the last sentence.
"What did you say I couldn't quite hear you?" I said pretending I did not hear.
"Ah, nothing~ You should go to class now!" She said while putting a small smile on.
I crawled out of the tiny tunnel and walked to class. She wouldn't lie to me, right? I've known her ever since I was six...She even followed me to my new school and made her Uhm...Basho behind the stairs. I think Basho was the word...it's like a place for The Special Five, kind of like a house I guess? I soon make it to class and start daydreaming. Oh, Kumiko...please don't lie to me...
Time skip to 3:15
I saw Harumi and went up to her.
"Hey, Ayaka! Want to hang out this afternoon today?" She says with her usual happy spirit.
"Sorry I can't today, something came up," I said with a soft expression.
"Awe it's okay! I just wanted to ask because you are so busy lately! Any boys?" She said smirking.
"No, and I'm not looking for one," I say casually.
"How independent! Well, I'll go now, I need to head to the Gardening Club meeting. I will tell them you are sick!" She says while walking and waving. I quickly run to the stairs but to my surprise, the entry is opened? I sneak inside and hear some commotion. Which sounds like Kumiko and Riki-San?
"We need to find Shi quicker..."
"Yes I know, but we will not find him until next month so we must be patient."
"Why don't you pay more attention to Shi then that girl? We both know she will die today, so why did you ask her to come over? The future cannot be changed you know?"
I could not believe my ears so I quietly went out of the stairs. As soon as I was out I ran, I ran like my life depended on it. I am going to die. Today!? Why!? How!? Who is Shi!? I soon stop at a random hallway before hearing metal fall. I widen my eyes and look up to see...the roof is crumbling. I close my eyes tightly. So I'm going to die like this? I then heard a very loud
