Chapter 16 - Getting ready

Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men

April 20, 1977...11: 56 PM

Betty, Enya, Mark, Emily, Samual were out in the nighttime sky, driving down to a private property farm. The car stops and they all got out Betty's wearing a solid black long sleeve polyester fitted tapered cut disco shirt, black bell-bottoms, and black Stephanie Kelian heels. She put on some gloves and got out a bucket, the rest of them were confused.

"Why did you bring a bucket?" Emily asked

"You'll see..." Betty started to walk

they all followed her into the field and to their surprise, the private property farm is filled with cows and cow manure, Enya was disgusted, Mark was puffing his cigarette in confident, Samual plugs his nose, and Emily was still confuse about what's going on.

"Cows Betty, we came here to kill cows..." Samual admitted with his nose still plugged

"We didn't come here to kill Sam, we came here to collect their shit," she corrected

"You mean..." Samual, though it through

Betty nodded as she grabbed the pile of cow manure

"EEEEEWWWW...We came here to get that!" Enya almost throw up

"Yes, It's part of my plan," Betty confirm as he put the manure in the bucket

They were all confused, they don't remember anything about cow manure in Betty's plan, Emily was scratching her head and started to feel like she had heard this before from somewhere, somewhere from a book probably,

"This is kinda like Carrie..." Emily quoted

Betty turned to Emily and gave her a death glare, Emily quickly shut up as Betty puts more of the manure in the bucket, Mark nearly vomits, Samual throws up, Enya turned away, the bucket was almost full.

"This will be enough...come on, let's go to the paint shop." Betty started to walk to the car

"Paint?" The four teenagers questioned

"Betty, you didn't say anything about cow manure or paint--" Enya started to complain

"SHUT THE HELL UP ENYA!!" The blonde girl snapped

Everyone stopped as they saw anger in her eyes they all gulped, and they continued walking with the gross cow poop smelling up their noses and they drove out of the private property to the paint store.

The next day on April 21, 1977...Peter, Johnny, and Matthew were at the fabric store to get some material, the twins told their father about the voting prompt, and he was very happy about that. Johnny's wearing a teal rolled up sleeves button-up shirt with the same pants and shoes, Matthew's wearing a green short sleeves shirt with the same pants and shoes too. Peter was rolling out the fabric, he rolled out shamrock green and a dark green and put them together and he knows that those two colors look great together, he put the fabric on his son and he can imagine them wearing these beautiful colors, spring is here so green will be the perfect color for Johnny and Matthew. Peter grabbed the two fabric and they've walked to the cashier to pay for it,

"Um...Daddy," Matthew whispers to his father "Where's the washroom..."

Peter looks at his son for a minute and then look at the employee

"Where's the men's room at?" Peter asked

The employee looks like he wants to go home, and it looks like he doesn't care either

"Down to hall, pass the telephone, and then the men's room is to the left of the women's room" the employee huffed

Matthew and Johnny went to the direction of what the employee said, after paying for the fabric Peter went over to where are the ties to look for the one that'll look go on either Johnny and Matthew, he saw one that is a pattern of green and red, he knows it's not Christmas yet, but, the tie's pattern was an x. green on the north and the south of the x and red on east and west of the x, it was perfect, he grabbed two of them just in case if Johnny and Matthew want to match, he was about to go to the cashier to pay for the ties, he notices that there's another man paying for two rolls of blue and white fabric after paying, the man turns around and made eye contact with Peter.

"Peter..." He quoted

"Henry..." Peter quoted
