In English class everyone was waiting for their teacher, most of the time they would talk and discuss stuff, today's fashions, today's music, and so on. Veronica was sitting in front of Johnny, Johnny always sits in the back of the classroom so no one will see his face. of course; Betty's wearing a Mustard Yellow Velvet Short Sleeve Heddy Jumpsuit and Rubber Leatherette Ankle Strap. She sits two desks away from him, she would throw wads of papers at him, throw pencils at him, even wads of gum at him and it always gets stuck in his red hair.

Still, he keeps his head down low with his hair hiding his face, Johnny's wearing a white button-up medium sleeves shirt with the same bell-bottoms and Deadstock Nike. Veronica's wearing a dusty pink ribbed knit sweater, Raw Hem Bell-Bottoms, and Talia Camel Distressed Nubuck Wooden Platform Heels, she turns to Johnny and tries to cheer him up a bit, He looked up to her and smiles a little and then turns pink Veronica's notice and puts her hand on his face feeling the warmth on his cheek. He put his hand on top of her hand, he never felt hands so soft and smooth nails before, she realizes Johnny's hand was on her hand, she puts her hand down and felt the ginger boy's hands with both of her hands.
"Johnny," Veronica began "Your hands are awfully dry, have you been putting hand cream on?"
Johnny nodded his head and then he felt a shiver near his hips, he got up and he was about to exit the classroom until Betty put her foot out and he tripped over it and fell face-first on the wooden floor and the whole classroom laugh (except for Veronica), Johnny got up slowly as the principal came in the classroom and see that everyone was laughing at Johnny and Betty had her foot out.
"Elizabeth Sawyer!" Principal Thrailkill shouted, "That is unacceptable!"
"Come on, Principal Thrailkill, can't you take a joke?" Betty asked
Principal Thrailkill walked over to Betty's desk and look directly at her eyes
"I don't accept rebellious students in this school, so I expect the best behavior from every student in this building." He said in a firm tone
He then walked over to Johnny and helped him up, he was okay it just scared him a bit when Johnny pushes his hair back away from his face until Veronica screamed in terror and everyone jumped right out of their skin and the principal looked at her.
"What?" Principal Thrailkill question
Johnny was confused too, everyone looks at him in horror he was getting more confused and scared he looked around the classroom to see if the teacher came back yet, but he wasn't.
"Johnny! you God Damn idiot! Your nose is bleeding!" Betty replied
He puts his hand on his nose and felt something liquid on his upper lip and he looked at his two fingers and see that there is blood, his nose was really bleeding. He started to breathe heavy and tearing up, the principal comfort him, Johnny was about to have another panic attack.
"Johnny...look at me...breath okay...breathe..." The principal told him
"I...I...I...I..." Johnny was breathing even more rapidly
Everyone took pity on Johnny (except for Betty), the principal lead him to the door
"Go to the nurses' office and she'll take care of the situation, M'Kay." Principal Thrailkill comfort
Johnny left the room and close the door as the principal look at Betty in an angry look,
"What did you do?" He questioned angrily
"I just trip him that's all..." Betty answered
"Where did he land?" he questions again
She didn't say anything, the principal walked up to her desk again and made eye contact with her, she looked away giving him the silent treatment, he grabbed her arm in a firm grip.
"Well..." he shook her a little
She mumbled something it wasn't loud enough for him to here, he back away from her desk and he straightens his tie and sighs loudly.
"If you're not going to cooperate, go to my office, right now young lady!" he pointed to the door
Betty got up from her desk and grabbed her books and then glare at the principal and exits out of the door. Meanwhile, Johnny was waiting for the nurse to come back with some paperwork, he looks at the posters in the office. one of them was, keep your teeth clean stay away from cavities and one was, don't use the same hairbrush that some else use otherwise you'll get lice, he waited for minutes and minutes, until he felt the same twitch near his hips again. He looked somewhere else to take his mind out of his bladder, he just stared at the book on the nurses' desk, he was really staring at it really good and then he notices that the book was moving on its own, he continued to concentrate, now, the book was floating off the desk the lights were flickering again until the door opened and Johnny snapped out of it and the book plops down on the desk, he turned to the nurse that was finally back. She was pretty, blonde hair with some curls on it with brown eyes, beautiful makeup, and she was wearing a white nurse dress with the nurse hat and some white three-inch shoes, she walks over to Johnny and she notices the bloody nose on his face.
"Why Jonah, your nose is bleeding?" she questioned
"Um...Miss. Cathy," Johnny said in a soft tone "It's me, Johnny Koals"
Miss. Cathy looked confused and reach for her glasses from her pocket and puts them on her face, and everything was clear, now she can see the red hair.
"Oh! Johnny...sorry, without my glasses I can't see anything." She giggled
She looks at his nose carefully and felt around his nose to see if there's any damage in it, she felt nothing.
"What happened?" Miss. Cathy began to write in her clipboard
"Well, I was in English class sitting down on my desk, and I needed to use the washroom when I got up, walked over and I tripped over something and I fell face-first on the floor, Principal Thrailkill helped me up and then everyone just stared at me like the English teacher was back, but he wasn't. It turns out, they were staring at me because my nose was bleeding, so the principal told me to come to you to help with my situ....situa...." Johnny told
"Situation." She help
"Yeah, my situation," he replied
Miss. Cathy continued to write in the clipboard as Johnny felt less blood on his nose
"Is your nose broken, dear?" She asked, "anything feels funny anywhere on or inside of your nose?"
"N-No...It just started to bleed all of sudden, I didn't hear a snap or anything, it just...it just started bleeding" Johnny answered in confusion
The nurse looked at his nose again and she realized something, she instantly knows what going on, she's been studying it for a long time and never actually saw it up in-person in her 4 years in medical school and almost 3 1/2 years as a school nurse.
"Johnny..." She gasps "You don't just have a nose bleed, you have Hemophilia"
"Hemo-what?" Johnny question
"Hemophilia it's a medical condition in which the ability of the blood to clot is severely reduced, causing the sufferer to bleed severely from even a slight injury. The condition is typically caused by a hereditary lack of a coagulation factor, most often factor VIII." she explained, "In other words, you have a blood disorder. And It's rare, so nobody actually has seen Hemophilia."
"Is there a cure?" Johnny asked
"I'm sorry, but there isn't, but it can be treated, you can ask your father to let you see a specialist." Miss. Cathy
"Okay...I think my nose stopped bleeding." Johnny felt his nose and he jumps off of the table
He was about to exit the door to go to the bathroom to wash up until,
"Johnny..." The nurse replied
"Yes" He turned
"Tell your father that I said hello to him," she told him
Johnny nodded and exits and he was confused, why did the book moved on its own, why he doesn't know anything about his and Matthew's mother, and why does the nurse know their dad?
