Decades after the prophesized apocalypse, the earth decayed mainly by means of climate change.
Humanity was then forced to live on space on a huge atmospheric infrastructure developed by Dr. Leona Witt called "The Orion".
The inhabitants of Orion were called "Aenids".
Unfortunately, those who were not privileged, the "Noeis", remained on earth.
A wealthy philanthropist naming Charles Maxist constructed an underground shelter for them and it had protected them for years against the harmful hazards of the earth's surface.
Sadly, earth's decay not only affected the planet itself, but also instilled corruption on humanity itself.
For years, the earth's atmosphere started to get better, having it more inhabitable for humans.
Noeis slowly tried to venture to land above, and confirmed the planet's back.
Though there's something to be grateful for, the damage on the planet was so severe that it take a very long time to heal.
The planet's geographical setting reverted back to the old "Pangean" continent as expeditions started to explore the places.
Knowing the Noeis are able to live on the earth's mainland, some Aenids were sent down to have it checked and explored.
Then, a certain incident would later happen that would cause a internal feud against the last two remaining clusters of humanity.
A huge wasteland that was once known as United States of America became the civilized metropolis of the Noeis called "Area 0".
Every inhabitable regions of the now Pangean continent were marked as Areas.
All areas are interconnected by a infrastructural wonder called the "Luden's Web".
The said structure were underground railroads capable of mass transport at safe and convenient way.
The Aenids also instituted a walled metropolis somewhere in mainland Asia called Larange's Coven.
It was much technologically advanced with the Noeian's Area 0.
Larange's Coven also constructed a very long tower connecting the area to the Orion.
The said tower was very sturdy, able to withstand pressure, impact and any form of tension that may disrupt it.
Even though the Aenids are living their lives at the fullest at outer space, it was pretty much far from perfect.
An astrological phenomenon would later deplete their resources, having them venturing back to earth for more.
As the years pass by, the Orion had major problems on maintaining the resources needed to operate it.
It aroused when the alignment of the sun through it's course facing the planet moved.
And since it heavily relies on solar energy, it was fails to cater the full operations of the brethen, creating complications and the likes.
The story starts off with a wandering nomad naming Meguia.
As she slowly ventured northward, a huge sea of sand appeared before hee very eyes.
The hazardous Sahadi Desert.
It was now confirmed the largest as it now covers more than half of the African region.
Expanding the areas of the Sahara, it now ranges as a subtropical and a cool coastal one.
Nomads just like her wanders across the whole desert in search for scraps and sell them for cash.
Area 9, the region's only city, is located near the country once called Congo.
The now called Pangean territory collates all the continents altogether.
Majority of the metropolitan areas, whether a small or a large one, are roughly located on deserted areas.
She was travelling alone with a hover bike.
It was old, rusty, and barely functional.
Powered by thermal energy, it makes a good use of the region's setup since it's day throughout 20 straight hours.
It's typically a motorbike designed without the wheels.
All of a sudden, a brilliant while light gleamed through the skies.
It crashed on a nearby location, causing an impact so powerful, that it sent her flying.
She rushed to the area, slightly relieved that her junk bike was still in good shape.
She made precautionary steps as grows closer to the crash area.
It was some weird looking spacecraft that might experienced a system failure and having it crashing from up above.
"That's odd. The receptor could not identify any of the weird stuff here." she whispered.
Meguia accidentally stepped on something, as she got slightly electrocuted.
It may have activated something across the area, she thought.
She then noticed a small, weird-looking pod.
The jammed pod slowly opened as a mysterious looking creature appeared on her very eyes.
"W.. What the heck are you!" she stammered as she slowly inspected the creature.
It had a skinny, alienoid physique.
It seemed to be too young with all the wrinkles on the skin.
Instead of having a hair, there were some sort of tentacles on his head.
It also have a pale blue skin tone.
As she tried to see it closer, it suddenly opened it's eyes as it quickly stood up.
By reflex, Meguia grabbed his beam pistol and pointed it to the creature.
To her surprise, the creature raised his hand as if it was gesturing for her to "stop."
The creature seemed to weak to retaliate so she slowly lowered her pistol.
It slowly stood up but suddenly fell badly towards the ground.
"Hey, are you okay?" she spoke, still wary that it might do some harm.
"Exactly 5 years from now, Veia, a cursed race of Phaians, will seize your planet." it paused, slowly catching his breath.
"Huh? Sorry to be rude, but what the hell are you blabbering about?" she didn't know or how to respond, more unlikely to believe the creature was telling.
"I am the current Hado Master, and I am passing the torch to you. The catch is, you will not gain all of it's powers on one get go." the creature slowly raised it's hand, asking her to do the same.
"Hado? And what does it have to do with me?" she exclaimed slightly raising her eyebrowse.
"Such power beyond your imagination. I don't have much time. Now or regret it later." he stared at her at such a serious manner.
Troubled on what to do next, the weakened creature forcefully took her hand.
At her surprise, both of them were struck with such a blinding light.
The moment she opened her eyes, her hands were cuffed.
She was not sure if it was all a dream or not.
But one thing's for sure.
She never had a strange-looking stigma on her left hand that itched all of a sudden.
