Chapter 15 - '1.5' Here we go again.

"Someone once told me to ask before you just assume." I said, holding the thick bars of wood in front of me. " Sounds like something a Dragon Hunter would say." Heather spat at me. I forced my temper to stay calm, even though I wanted to suffocate her at the moment.

I glared at her intensely, wishing that she would eventually shove off, but my attempt was futile. "Heather? You wanted to talk about something?" Hiccup walked into the stall, with everybody including Daguar following his movements.

I could see the part-nervousness part-shock written on Dagaur's face. I hated to think he was the one to get me out of this mayhem. But, even as stupid as he may be, we made a deal. And now was the exact time to see if he will keep his agreement.

"Uh, Heather, why is Imora in a cage?" Fishlegs asked from behind her. Heather smirked, observing the scene. " Astrid and I saw her drop this on the beach." She answered, accommodating my dagger into the air for everybody to witness.

A few audible gasps made my heart race. I gradually looked to Daguar, who kept a somewhat straight face. I could feel the tightness and the stares in the room. The stall fell silent, and I was afraid that if words left my mouth, it would be the end of the game for me.

" Heather, not to be rude or anything... but you know she could have just raided it, you know." Daguar broke the silence, stepping forward. A part of me felt an unusual sense. To my surprise, The Twins stayed quiet. " But Daguar, this is a tribal item. She couldn't just have raided it! These weapons are sacred!" She argued.

" Okay, fair enough, but you know I store a lot of things, including these daggers." He tried to convince her. I knew from his movement it was a lie, but I was slightly surprised at his fluidity. "But there is no way she could have stolen this dagger! It's made out of gold!" Astrid fumed.

"And what if I had taken it when the Dragon Hunters attacked? What if I found it laying on the ground?" I stated, backing myself up. The two girls only scowled at me. I was slightly anxious about my dagger since it was made out of gold.

The dagger had a brown leather handle, with delicate gold details that swirled around the top and onto the blade. The dagger was finished off with three red Rubies buried in the gold. It was named: " The Grimborn star." Each of the Rubies represented me, Viggo and Ryker.

It was my favorite dagger, and I praised it more than any other. " Chances that that happened are below zero." Astrid said, crossing her arms, attempting to intimidate me. It didn't work as I just gave her a look.

" Imora, is this yours?" Hiccup asked calmly. I was taken aback about his politeness. My heart said to nod, but I knew I couldn't do that. So I shook my head, lying. As much experience as I had on the subject of lying, I hated doing so.

Heather and Astrid's face turned scarlet with anger. It may have been in my head, but for a second it felt like Daguar wasn't the only one covering for me; when Hiccup placed his hand on Astrid's shoulder to calm her down.

The dragons in the room inhaled the air and growled. My stomach took a nasty turn, but after looking at Astrid carefully, I noticed she doesn't look alright. Her face was a pale green and her nose was a light red. Out of nowhere, my voice sprang into the air.

"Astrid... you don't look so well..." I observed. The people in the room looked at me in surprise but quickly glanced at Astrid. Her eyes hung lowly and her body rocked to the side.

She lost her balance and favorably, Hiccup caught her before she fell to the ground. About everybody in the chamber began to panic, Heather, of course, glared in my direction. But for the first time, I didn't understand what was going on.

As soon as they came, they left, taking the unconscious Astrid with them. I blinked in the area of where the paralyzed Astrid was seconds ago. The floorboards creaked and I looked up seeing my savior. " Destiny." I whispered relieved.

She rushed over to me and clawed the door. She growled when her effort didn't assist. " Look, there." I pointed to the discarded dagger laying on the dirty floor. She trotted over and hoisted the blade into her mouth. Her jaw delicately dropped the valuable dagger into my grasp.

I immediately placed the weapon into the lock and set my ear next to the cold metal. I rattled the dagger against the walls of the device, listening intently to the vibration. I slid it up and monitored the sound again. Then I slid it down and then to the side. I smiled when it made a ping sound.

I pulled my dagger from the containment and pushed the door. To my complete surprise, the door didn't move forward like planned. " Oh come on! Did you have to Imora-proof this lock?" I asked the ceiling. I huffed and slid the dagger into my boot.

Just then hasty footsteps entered the clubhouse. My eyes went wide when Destiny wasn't fast enough to camouflage. We both span our heads to the surprised visitor and the shadow stood there in complete shock.

" It isn't what it looks like!" I piped out with fear.
