The tiger looked at the small human running towards it.
It opened its mouth to roar at him. Its canines were very huge and and its tongue had countless small spines.
It charged forward towards Kellogg. In the distance the fleeing team members really hoped for his survival. Their image of Kellogg had taken a 180.

In reality it wasn't dangerous as they all thought.
'Hmm' he thought, while dodging the attacks.
'Its attacks are slow but strong. Its body is slightly inclined to the left and paw prints in the rear are shallower than the front'
It wasn't a fight for him, it was more like solving a test.
He attempted to find the center of mass of the tiger so that he could knock it over. He would then attack its vital areas to kill it.
Suddenly he leapt and headbutted at its shoulder blade. The tiger fell over and almost instantly he ripped with his hands one of the arteries in its neck, killing it.
It was a bit too easy. A confused expression formed on his face. Normally a tiger or some creature like this should have a lower center of mass. But here it was placed way up to the point where it could be easily knocked over with a bit of effort.
He poked its stomach with a finger. "Huh? It feels hollow."
Within a millisecond after he poked it a rather large explosion occurred scattering crystallized glass across the dessert.
A large crater shining under the moon light stood where Kellogg and the tiger should have been.
In the distance the surprised faces of the first squad members could be seen.
