The ground trembled violently that Harith fell off his footing. From the entrance of the hall, the floor began to crack at fast speed. Granger fell off his back, almost having his head smashed against the concrete window.

"Harith, grab my hand!" Granger shouted in abrupt as he tried to yank his comrade away from the ceasing floor. But it was too late. Harith had already fallen into the depth. "No! Harith!"

"Aah!" The Leonin Elf's screams slowly fade in as debris poured from above.

Out of the blue, a female figure appeared from the end of the hallway. Judging by the grand looks of the woman, it was no other than Lady Jane herself. Another woman shows herself and Granger could only stare like a deer caught in the headlights.

"I made you a considerable deal and a considerable deadline, Granger." Jane said, her soft words of no evidence of anger whatsoever echoing over the now floorless room. "Yet you've abused my respect. Do you really think you can just come and go in these doors with the fact that you own my daughter's heart?"

Granger kept his gaze only at Guinevere and it only took him a second to realize. Her green eyes were illuminating of evil. "What did you do to her?" Granger groaned as his foot slips, making it harder for him to remain still as the ground he stood was disintegrating, soon collapsing.

"I've simply returned her to my daughter, the one who's not and will be corrupted of your love no more. Isn't that right, dearie?"

Guinevere nodded as she smiled plainly, her hands clasped together in her front.

"Why can't you just accept her as she is? Why can't you just let her be? Hasn't graduating as valedictorian and being a lovable daughter enough for you? Are you really that much bsessed as a social climber so much as you force your daughter into marrying and abandoning her freedom into someone she's clearly not f*cking into?! Huh? Answer me, you b*tch!"

An invisible wall of silence stood between them for a full ten seconds. Jane's smile widened as she threw her head back, laughing without control. All her manners and etiquette were flying out the door.

"No one has ever called me that in years. Thank you, Granger. But I need you to take that back. Guinevere? Kill him for mummy."

Guinevere curtsied. "With pleasure, mother."

"I'll never forgive you for doing this!" Granger roared.

Jane smirked smugly before leaving. "Bring your resentment to hell, for all I care!"

Granger broke the window behind him with his elbow. He climbed and jumped out, landing on a thick row of shrubs. Guinevere jumped next with a ball of ultraviolet rays already at aim to end him in his spot.

Granger mustered all of his might to haul himself out. Guinevere landed like an asteroid, impacting everything around her in a five meter radius and sending Granger to the thick agonizing bushes of rose.

Thorns pricked in his clothes and skin, one or two near his eyes, almost making him blind.

Guinevere pulled him out by his collar and threw him hard against the grass.

"Gwen, snap out of it already!" Granger exclaimed as her manipulated lover climbed on top of him, locking him in place with her thighs.

Guinevere remained speechless as she began to form a huge ball of her excruciating power with both of her hands. She held no emotions in her eyes. Without slight evidence of hesitation, Guinevere threw her hands above her before dropping them. She was going to smash his head with.

Granger cursed aloud as he pushed her hands away right before her ball of ultraviolet energy could end him. The energy ball irradiated, hissing desperately to burn its target alive.

"I... love you, Gwen." Granger struggled to say. He forced a sad smile. "And I'm sorry for everything."

Fanny swung forward, crashing against Guinevere as they both flew across the clearing. "I knew you weren't as innocent as you look!" The assassin screeched as she drew a sword against the redhead's throat.

Granger stood up with his mind in storm. What was he supposed to do? He doesn't know how to break whatever spell Guinevere was on and Fanny was going to kill her if he doesn't make a move. Or worse, Guinevere kills Fanny before she can.

Make up your mind already, goddammit! Granger thought to himself.

"G-Granger," Granger spun around. Alucard limped forward and Granger could faint. "Kiss her. It'll break the spell. Now!"

Granger nodded curtly and sprinted across the grass. "Fanny, wait!"

Fanny looks up. Her opponent distracted, Guinevere lifted her legs and kicked Fanny off her. But before she could get up, Granger threw himself on top of her.

"G-Granger?" Guinevere whimpered, her manipulated eyes subsiding back to normal.

Granger was gripping the grass beneath them. Holding his breath, he dives in, pressing his lips to hers. It felt magic. Kissing her was always magical to him. But this time, it felt different. It felt as though a passing of a storm and the advent of a rainbow. Alucard couldn't help but to smile as Fanny clings on his side supportively, cherishing the romantic view with.

Spectating behind a window, Jane viciously scoffed. How she loathed what she saw.

"You're not as powerful as I thought, Alice." Fists clasped together, she said tauntingly to the Abyssal witch behind her.

The woman of devilish horns and big appalling wings smiled, her beauty of atrocity. "Hmm. How so?"

"The spell wore off after he kissed her! The spell is unbreakable, you said, true love's kiss is impotent, you said!"

"It is, you Moniyan wench!"

Jane gasped of the sudden vulgarity. "I'll have Thamuz behead you, you filthy hag."

"Thamuz is but an idiot to my seduction!"

While the two supposedly women of etiquette and power continue to be in a squabble, Guinevere kissed Granger back.

Guinevere pushed her lover away softly to examine his face. "You needn't be sorry for everything, Granger. In fact, I'm happy that you came into my life and blessed me our dear Gwyneth. I'm fortunate enough you're the owner of my heart and soul! For me, no esteemed title or riches can be compared to you."

Granger smiled, looking back into her emerald green orbs.

"Oh, that lovey-dovey moment will last, I assure you!" Alice mocked as though she was even of their earshot. Upon Jane's demand, Alice redone the spell on Guinevere.

Guinevere felt the negative energy seeping back inside her, forcing her to crawl as far away as she could.

Granger stared. "Gwen, what's wrong?"

"Y-You need to leave!"

"No, I'm not leaving without you."

"Please, Granger! I can't... hold it much longer..."

Her eyes were illuminating once again, making Granger frown.

Granger looked at Alucard, betrayed. "Y-You said it'll break off the spell."

Alucard only shrugged. "Sorry. It was the first thing which came in my mind. But at least it worked, though, right?"

"Only for a short while." Fanny replied.

Granger sighed. He couldn't blame him. Both of them were mere demon hunters, not mages.

"Find Gwyneth and get to the Sanctuary! Silvanna needs her Chevaliers. T-The Moniyan Empire needs you, all of you! So go." Guinevere begged.

Alucard placed a hand on his friend's shoulder. "She's right, Granger. Let's go!"

Granger looked back at Guinevere. She held onto the grass as hard as she can, trying to resist the darkness coursing in her veins, sacrificing herself. She could only hold it for so long so the three Lightborns wasted no time to leave.

Jane's anger was beginning to boil up. "They're running away! Do something, Alice!"

Alice summoned portals in the way of the three Moniyan warriors. Stepping out of the portals were demons born to be the counterparts of the Imperial Army, yet seemingly having more of the advantage with their aggressive behaviour and rocky physique similar to their leader.

"Fight or flight?" Fanny asked.

Alucard pulled himself out of Fanny's side and chugged on a regeneration potion. "I say we fight. Heck, to the death!"

Harith looked around the underground labyrinth, having only torches to light his way. But had it not been for his time traveling powers, he could spend his whole life trying to find a way out, which is truly depressing enough to hear.

Harith climbed a steep flight of stairs. Once he reached the top, he was panting for breath. He couldn't feel his tail as well.

The eternal silence of the labyrinth caved and the ringing in Harith's ears stopped to listen. The soft muffled cries of a babe was coming from inside the door.

"Could it be?" Harith wondered. He twisted the knob and entered.

The room was a windowless dungeon. Two rotting skeletons of late swordsmen sat at the far corner, almost making Harith yelped.

There was a crib far from the skeletons. It was placed underneath the only torch in the room.

The cries were growing louder as he neared the crib. Harith couldn't help but to cover his ears. "Hey there, little..." Harith trailed off once he saw the baby inside. Espying the feminine name embroidered on the pink blanket, he immediately recognized her. "You're Granger's daughter, aren't you? What are you doing here all alone? Perhaps, you need my rescue?"

The newborn stopped crying. Her eyes opened for the first time and Harith never felt more blessed. Gwyneth's adorable little paw-like hands reached for the Leonin Elf and Harith leaned over, letting her grab his feline ears.
