I open my eyes to darkness. It must be night time.
"Hello, child."
I bolt upright. I can't see. I can't sense anything around me.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Welcome." A female voice echoes around me. I stand up. It feels like I'm upside down. I'm dizzy.
"Where am I? Where are you?" I demand. I hear a laugh.
"I'm in you're head. You don't recognize my voice, Taylor?"
"How do you know me?!" I demand. A snap to my left catches my attention. Then, I start falling.
I gasp, sitting up. I look at my surroundings. I can't tell if it's sundown or sunset. She's in my head. Oh god. Where's home? Where am I? Alorra. I know that name. Where's it from? Alorra...Alorra...
"Alorra!? Alorra where are you?!"
"Sam!"
That's it!! Alorra is my mom! I stand.
"Ah!" My ankle. I'm so sore...but I can see home. I run. "Dad! Jack!" I shout. My dad turns around. He runs towards me. I run into his arms, and start crying.
"I'm gonna explain everything-"
"Where's Jack?" I demand, looking at my father with watering eyes. He looks down at me and shakes his head.
"He's in the hospital. Far away." He explains. He looks at me, carefully. "You're so hurt. Cmon, inside."
I'm escorted inside.
"No- I wanna see Jack! He doesn't know I'm okay!" I demand.
"You're not okay, we will go see him when you are." My father says. "Please. Just stay here. I have to explain." He says, his eyes pleading. I bite my lip and nod. I'm coming Jack. First thing tomorrow.
