Serenity did her usual routine, she grabbed her stuff and headed to school as the sun shines down the Ementia city. A city under its own country. Serenity Blossom is a sixteen year-old living a normal high school life. She got out of the school bus and went to her school "Morning, Serenity!" A student asked greeting her"Good morning" she greeted back "Serenity!" She stopped on her tracks and looked behind her "Oh Rosa" Her called as her one-year younger best friend clings onto her, but she was able to maintain balance"Woah, there!" Rosa giggled and let go of her grasp, she took out a book from her bag "Look, look" Serenity smiled and rubbed her head "You finally got the book you wanted! Congrats!" She cheered and made their way to the campus her blue eyes stared at the book.
'Tales of hundred'
Serenity didn't understood why the author named the book Tales of Hundred. The book that her mother tells her before she goes to bed, a book that has the history of their country, though, it's only a legend. She didn't believe it.
"All right class for next week's break, the school chose this class for the Meet and get together week" Their advisor said. The meet and greet is where the school's from different cities go to meet and get along at a location that the principal chose it's a tradition that happens every year. "Awesome!" One of the boys said "So, where will the location be this time?" The class president asked "We'll be staying Naturae city" The advisor answered with a smile "We'll be staying at their hotel and in our floor each room has two beds, which means you'll be havng partners" she explained "you can freely choose your partners but the same gender!" She finished. The students stood up and went to look for their partners.
"Serenity" The teenager turned her head and saw her classmate Odette, one of the most shy students in her classroom. "What is it? Do you not have a partner?" She asked and her shy classmate nodded "I can be your partner. Since I don't have one yet" Serenity smiled kindly "R-Really?" Odette asked and she nodded. "Of course, I hope we can get to know each other" Serenitu said "If you have picked your partners, go back to your seat"
When lunch came Rosa and Serenity were eating at the cafeteria "It's really awesome how our city has the same name from one hundred years ago! It's really cool, do you think these dragons exist too?" Rosa asked "Huh? No, no. I don't believe in those kinds of things, even though majority of the people here believes in them" Serenity said waving her hand "Really?" She nodded "You're class is picked to be the school's volunteer of the meet and get together week right?" Rosa asked again and Serenity nodded as a response "Lucky~" Serenity giggled at her reaction "I'll bring you souveniers" she said crossing her legs "Oh no! I can't let you waste your money on me" she said "It's no biggie, I can buy something when we get back" Serenity reassured, she grabbed her tray and stood up "I'll be back" She said and made her way to put the tray away. Once she returned the tray she made her way back to the table but some took their foot out making her trip, Serenity didn't have time to react but before her face went to the tiled floor a pair of arms caughter.
"Are you okay?" Serenity looked up and saw a guy with with dark brown hair and dark blue eyes "Y-Yeah.. thanks..." She answered and stepped away giving the two some distance "Watch your step next time" the guy placed his hands in his pockets and walked away while Serenity quickly went back to their table. "I think that was the new student in Junior year..." Rosa said sipping on her juice "I didn't knew they had a new student" Serenity said "I was told that he's kind of selfish and self-centered" She informed "That doesn't seem like it" Serenity said, the bell rang shortly after and the students went back to their classrooms.
"Alright class, I will be introducing you to someone who will come with us at our trip" Their advisor said and motioned the person to enter the classroom. Serenity's eyes widen in shock as the person who saved her will be coming with them in their trip "My name's Spirit Farlon.. the new guy in the Junior year" he introduced "His hometown is in Naturae so he'll be giving us a tour" The students started to whisper, Spirit noticed and made eye contact with Serenity, the young woman quickly looked away embarrassed.
Spirit looked away and sighed, he never wanted to go back home due to his parents. But if this was the only way to get close to some people then he should at least do it, even if he likes it or not. "Of course, I suggest you guys to give me some respect, if you don't listen. I'll leave you on the streets of Naturae" Serenity remembered what her friend said and she's not wrong, she rolled her eyes and looked away. "He'll also be picking your leader" The teacher said "Now, normally the class president would be the leader but the principal allowed Spirit to choose one for us" She explained as the Junior looks around. His eyes glanced at Serenity "You there, the girl with green eyes" he called causing her to flinch and look at him "You're going to be the leader" he said, Serenity sighed and just nodded with an 'okay' word. Serenity didn't like the way he acted, and not only that she didn't have a clue on how to be the leader anyways!.
School has ended, and Serenity is walking down the dark alley way which is a short cut to make her way home. It's already dark out since they had a meeting about the trip they'll be having. She focused her way on walking then she heard grunts and thuds coming from behind her, she turned around and saw Spirit and a few old men on the ground. "You're welcome"he said fixing his blazer "These pervs were following you for the past few days now" Serenity was shocked and creeped out on what he just said "You were following me?!" She asked in slight anger "Jeez, that's the thanks I get for saving you?" Spirit asked with sarcasm "Who cares?! You were following me?! Who told you to do that?! You creep!" She shouts but he just left without saying anything. Serenity growled and walked home in anger.
