Bloop was so tired....so tired. His dreams filled with visions of horrific acts, and monsters. His nights were plagued with thoughts of one figure in particular. It had a face made out of bone, no flesh, no muscle. Just hard bone, the skull of a horse. Great horns attached to the skull. It had a body of lion, tail of a mule, limbs like that of a zebra. And great wings made out of bone. Two pairs of them. How fearsome the beast was, always appearing and leading him to a place. Filled with masked figures, they would bow and worship the beast. Many looked like the beast itself. With masks made out of actual animal skulls and bone. The followers would try to tell him something, but he could never hear, never comprehend. Always waking up before the whole message could be heard.
He could never sleep, always like he was actually there. The visions began to make their way into his conscious life. He could hear whispers of the followers that were never there. He could see them staring from the distance. Almost beckoning for him to follow.
He couldn't take it anymore, the restless nights of no sleep tormented him to no end. He had enough. He listened to the voices, he followed the figures thinking they were fake. He soon realized it wasn't so. They were real, they were flesh. The grabbed him, they left with him. They took him to the exact place from his dreams. He saw the beast staring at him. Expression like it was expecting him. They dragged him and threw him down in front of a large throne. Slowly he lifted his head up, eyes widening at the sight. There was a person looking down directly at him. Gaze boring straight into his soul. They were wearing a grandly decorated bone mask. With ornaments hanging from the long horns.
The figure continued to stare until another figure appeared in a puff of smoke. It spoke in a language bloop never heard before. They then turned to the figure on the throne and spoke to them. "Et hoc est, novum membrum huh. Debilior quam expectatur, sed omnes esset. Cur nos prohibere solveret eum et tormenting eum cum somnia? Quam vellent scire salvatoris si nos prohibuit? Sic dominus meus....Ego videbit ad suum initiationis et redemptio."
The strange figure then turned to him and smiled. "Why hello there little one. You must be new. My name is Sanctus. I will explain everything soon, please stand up little one"
The voice of Sanctus rang in his ears. Why was he here? He didn't know.
He stood and followed him. The rooms were filled with a strange blue liquid. He heard Sanctus sign "These asseclas really should stop eating whatever the find" The masked figure then turned to look at him. He froze. "Really..there is no need to be afraid. Im sure you are confused and tired." You are here in the ecclesia de labe. We...are the followers of salvatoris. You soon shall join our ranks as the Asseclas. There is one major think you should know, the invaders are kill on sight. You mustn't interact with them.
"Ah we are here, where you redemption will begin" The room was tall and filled with bones and needles with blood. Most of the bones were from humans. it sent shivers up his spine.
"Step up and stand on the alter. You must be sacrificed and deemed worthy by Salvatoris before being accepted into the ranks." He didnt like this, he had to leave. He didnt want to die and join. "You are scared, why? You will soon be set free from the mortal plain and reincarnated here." Sanctus said with a smile. He took of the bone mask from his face and put on a ceremonial mask. A scalpel was taken out of his robe. "May all of the Ecclesia de Labe over see this ceremony. Where the unclean will be washed of past sins!" Fear took over his body as the scalpel was brought closer to his arm. The cold scalpel touched his arm and he flinched. "Do not fear, Salvatoris can sense your fear." The scalpel dug into his flesh, searing pain pulsed from the wound. "Once this is over, your old life will be gone. Thrown into the wind." He shut his eyes hard. "May your blood please him greatly." The scalpel plunged deep into his heart, blood gushing from the wound. His vision grew blurry, he grew tired. He grew weaker. he fell deeper into darkness.
His eyes opened with a start, eyes unfocused and hazy. He was scared and jumpy. But that quickly faded away as a addicting sense of calm washed over him. A voice soon whispered into his ear. "Do not fear, I will be here protecting you from all dangers. Everything will be all right. Do everything We tell you too. You will be the happiest you've ever been. Step into the church. Filled with wonder and amazing sights. Do not fear, for I am Salvatoris, your savior."
