Me and my friends were just chilling by the library. We were joking around, and listening to our emo music, and drinking monster energy drinks. Until, one of my friends Destiny asked me if I wanted to go on a blind date. At first, I didn't want to do it my social anxiety was starting to mess with me. But, she was being annoying to the point I have no other choice, but to say yes. If only I knew it was a bad idea, and everything will not be the same. 


I got Ava to finally go on a blind date. To be honest with you, I don't know anyone to go on a blind date with Ava. She might be quiet, but sis is crazy, like she the Latina crazy. But, hey whoever I find to go on a blind date with her, might be as crazy as her. 


I got ready for this blind date. I wear this. 


I got dressed as I was listening to Ed Sheeran Kiss Me on my black recorded player. I heard a knock on my dorm door. I look threw the pick-e-hold, and it was Destiny. I opened the door, and she had a mask in her hand. She handed me the mask, and said put it on so I did.


We went to her red KIA Soul. I got a black KIA Soul. We went to this fancy restaurant. We walked in and Destiny told the lady that she has a reservation under Wilson. The lady sent me to a table with a white boy in a white mask . He looked up when I sat down. He held his hand out, and introduced himself as Derek. I shook his hand, and introduced myself as Ava. We were talking, then we ordered our food. He ordered Paella, and I ordered Lobster. He goes to my college, but I have never seen him before. I know a lot of people in my college, so he must be new. I asked him what he majored in. He said he majoring in Biotechnology. I told him I'm majoring in writing. The night went on, and we went to our dorms. I got home and I got a text from an unknown number.


I looked at the text and say who's this? I got a text back and it read Derek.
