A girl opens her eyes to find herself lying down in concrete; she sits up to see destroyed buildings. In the distance, there is a large castle, half of the enormous castle is gone, as if someone big smashed it.
"Where am I?" the girl asks her self, suddenly, all the rubble around her begin to levitate. She feels a cold and hostile presence around her. She turns around to see a woman dressed in a black dress; she has black hair and large wings. Her eyes are glowing purple, and the city around her begins to shatter even more.
Another person is attacking her, another woman with black hair; however, this one is wearing armor and wields a spear. The spear glows a bright golden color, and they both begin to fight.
The woman in black blocks the spear's attacks, and massive feedback of energy throws everything back. The girl gets back on her feet and begins to run the other direction, no matter how hard she looks, there are no survivors. There are only blood and dead bodies all over the place.
A scream is heard behind her; she turns around for a split moment to see the woman dressed in black in tears, she relentlessly strikes the woman with the spear. Loud yells could be heard even from far away.
"LET ME SEE HER! LET ME SEE HER!" the woman in black yells as she continuously blocks the spear attacks. The woman with the spear says something, but it is hard to tell since she is far away.
A hand touches the girl's dress, she looks behind her to see a short girl with pink hair, she looks up and says in a depressed voice. "Not a pretty sight right? This is the future. Make the right choice and start your adventure."
A massive explosion catches the girl's attention, she turns back to the small girl to see that she is gone.
As the girl continues to run, a giant golden spear appears above her, she looks up and sees the woman with the spear riding the giant spear. The golden spear is three times the size of a giant castle. The woman yells out something, and the spear thrusts itself towards the woman in black.
The whole area is filled with golden light, and the girl who was running away gets blinded.
She wakes up in shock, and with cold sweat, she looks around her to see that she fell asleep at a patch of grass, "Was it all a dream?"
As she tries to make sense of the nightmare she just had, a girl with blonde hair walks over to her and looks at her, confused, "Are you okay, Kanami?"
All of her worries are now instantly gone. She stands up and gives the blonde girl a warm smile and a nod, "Yup! Just a nightmare!"
The blonde girl who approached her is Albo Flore, a girl who is looking to become a hero of justice, she has trained her whole life in the village of Xegnum, which is a village filled with masters of magic and the blade.
It is evening in this town; the sun is about start setting, Albo Flore runs off in a hurry and yells back at the girl, "I gotta get back to training! Come see me later, Kanami!"
"Okay!" The girl then proceeds to leave the area and goes to buy ingredients for her house.
The girl's name is Shini Kanami, she never met her parents, but she knows that they died when she was a baby. Albo's family raised her, and she grew up to be a happy girl. Kanami has long white hair, beautiful blue eyes, and a sweet voice.
Around town, she is known as the kind girl; the villagers often compare Albo and Kanami, as Albo is an 18-year-old girl with rough blonde hair, a messy ponytail, and is known to be a tomboy. She has green eyes and has a very bratty personality. Although they are very different, both of them are best friends. Inseparable as the villagers say.
After a few minutes of reading, the sun begins to set, she gets up and walks towards where Albo is training. She smiles as she is excited to spend time with her best friend.
