I quickly leave to pack, only needing essentials and not having anyone who would care to say goodbye too.

Although my parents moved me to the pack house, Alpha Alec actually gave me quite a nice bedroom. It was large and painted with a nice purple that wasn't too light or too dark. I had a double bed and a nice wardrobe with a matching set of draws. I definitely preferred this room.

It reaches twelve O'clock and it's finally time to leave, to say I'm excited is an understatement.

I stand back in the training field at the side. Many wolves are also waiting with there bags of items. A lot, especially the females have at least two large backs. However a few, like me only have one bag, I think they forgot we needed to pack light as we are hunting, tracking and fighting rogues in wolf form.

Some who have shifted already are struggling and I can't help but giggle. 'Idiots, don't they know there is no cars the whole way?' I tell myself.

The Alpha King decided we should all run in wolf form as it's quicker and I agree. I love being in wolf form and I love running. I watched Alpha Alec and Alpha King Alessio talk while we wait for the rest of the wolves.

I had already shifted with my bag on my bag, I was actually grateful my parents bought me a saddle bag that is actually meant for dogs as a birthday present years ago, because now it is very handy and sits nicely. It's a little loose but it'll be fine. They had bought it to put me down and show me just how weak they saw me but I was grateful for it.

I managed to cram in four sets of training gear, a few tops, a blouse, jeans and some leggings. Leggings are my best friends. I could live in them. I also had two pairs of pajama's and also my hunting knife in one side and In the other side I had my black combat boots, my phone, my favourite book and a first aid kit. Everything I needed.

After about ten minutes, confirmation is sent through the link that all wolves are present.

We had been told that we were going to the kingdom first but none of us have any clue why as we all thought we'd begin the hunt straight away however, I had a thought that maybe we'll be tested to see if we really are strong enough.

"Everyone, listen up" The Alpha King demands. Everyone quietens and listens.

"I would like everyone to shift, if you have all your belongings" everyone yet to shift immediately shifts, including the king. I was glad I shifted beforehand and didn't ruin a set of clothes.

I bow down to him as he walks proudly past me. He nods his head in acknowledgment and carries on. Everyone follows. Bowing to the king and his men and woman.

I instantly stand tall as Alpha Alec speaks, "Dark Moon, I want to wish you all the best of luck and you that you all deserve this opportunity. You have all made me so proud." By the end, Alpha Alec is looking at me and has a soft smile. I suddenly feel proud and stand a bit taller, nodding my head towards him. He smiles wider.

I jump as I hear a familiar voice in my head, "I have formed a mink link between all of us and my pack so that if you need anything, you can mind link with my pack and me." I forgot only Alpha's can form mind-links with non-pack members.

With that we set off and some of his men and woman surround the whole group, making sure no-one gets lost. As I'm a runt and small, I'm quickly pushed to the back and knocked off the path a few times by the other members of my pack. I knew the silence from them wouldn't last long.

I flick my ears and tail in annoyance but let it be, I was enjoying the feeling of freedom that came with this opportunity.

I kept a gentle paced trot and admired the beautiful forest. I took a deep breath in through my nose and the smell reminded me of the scent I smelt in the training field and it instantly relaxed me. I refuse to let other pack members ruin this for me. I couldn't wait to prove myself.
