"There, that should keep it from getting worse..." Luna said, putting another piece of tape over the bandage to keep it secure.
"Cute..." Ronnie muttered, watching Luna do her thing.
"Oi, who are you calling cute?" Luna's face turned pink.
"You care about me and that's cute" Ronnie smiled at her.
"I'm not gonna let someone with a serious injury go untreated," Luna explained, flustered.
"A doctor is supposed to help people," She added. Like her dad and aunt Nyx, Luna wanted to be a doctor, it's been her dream ever since she was 3 when her dad took her to his job. She sighed, deciding to change the subject as she wasn't too comfortable talking about her dad's career, as it was a little creepy.
"Can you move? Or does it hurt too much?" Luna asked, putting the first-aid-kit away.
"Nope, I can move just fine!" He slowly sat up on the bed with no problem. Ronnie suddenly felt his phone vibrating in his pocket and took it out. His mom was calling, which is weird because she barely uses technology. Ronnie thought she didn't know how to use modern technology.
"Seb must've shown her," He muttered, answering the phone.
"Ronnie, Daijobu desu ka? Ima Doko ni iru no!?" a concerned voice shouted.
"Oka-san, daijobu; ore wa tomodachito ishoni," Ronnie said. Luna hasn't heard Ronnie speak Japanese before, and she had to admit, it was hot, even if it was a bit informal. Kayako explained the situation to Ronnie, then hung up.
"My mom's freaking out, I should probably get back home," Ronnie said, putting his phone back in his pocket.
"I got it," Luna put her hand out and made a shadow portal back to the vampire castle.
"Whoa..." Ronnie exclaimed.
"Where'd you learn this? Or did you already know how?" He asked.
"My dad taught me how to do things with my shadow..." Luna quietly explained. When she discovered her "Alter ego," she told her family about it; then, Nyx and Gerhardt started teaching her how to control her shadow and make objects from it.
"L-lets just get going. I don't think you wanna keep your mom waiting," Luna shrugged.
"Yeah, I really shouldn't. She can be impatient," Ronnie chuckled, remembering the times his mom was angry, mostly at other people. Xavier and Ronnie didn't bother her much since they were usually busy with video games, band practices, etc.
"Welp, let's go then," Ronnie slowly got off Luna's bed.
"Don't forget your shirt, sexy," Luna sarcastically told him handing him his white MCR t-shirt. She had to take his shirt off since so much blood got on it, but Luna was able to get it off with her blood manipulation.
"You think I'm sexy?!" Ronnie's eyes lit up in hope.
"I guess. But I also think my dad is sexy and I don't wanna date him. Don't get your hopes so high," Luna shrugged. That crushed Ronnie's spirit. Girls are complicated, Luna's complicated, even if she is tomboyish, she's complicated.
"Why are girls so complicated?" He muttered, frustrated.
"How am I supposed to know? I don't even understand myself sometimes," Luna shrugged.
"I'm a psychologist and I still don't understand the female mind..." Nyx chimed into Luna's room, hearing her talking to someone. Nyx stopped, taking in the scene. She saw a shirtless Ronnie standing in Luna's room and backed away smirking.
"Oh... Okay then... Nevermind, I'll leave you two alone," She smirked, slowly closing the door before walking away to the kitchen to get a snack.
"Don't eat all my golden Oreos!" Luna shouted.
"Your aunt is weird... kinda hard to believe she's your dad's sister," Ronnie commented.
"She's not his sister, she's also his aunt," she corrected. As far as Luna knows, her dad only has one brother.
"What? I-I'm confused..." he stuttered.
"Nyx is my grandmother's youngest sister, making her my dad's aunt, which also makes her my great aunt," Luna explained.
"She looks so young..." Ronnie mumbled, stunned. A lot of times Nyx gets mistaken as Luna's sister or cousin, or just a friend due to people assuming they aren't related as they have different hair and eye colors.
"Tadaima!" Ronnie shouted, walking out of Luna's shadow portal. Kayako and Sebastion sighed in relief, seeing Ronnie wasn't badly injured.
" Oh thank god. You had us worried, young master," Sebastion said.
"Sorry about that, I'm fine," Ronnie reassured.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that..." Luna muttered.
"Okay, I feel fine," Ronnie corrected.
"At least you feel okay," She mumbled, annoyed.
"Itai desu ka?" Kayako asked, inspecting Ronnie all over, eventually finding the stab wound that Luna patched up.
"Don't worry, mom, Luna took good care of me," Ronnie smiled, putting an arm over Luna. Kayako stared at Luna, bending down to her height.
"... Kawaii desu chan," Kayako smiled at her; a tint of pink covered her pale cheeks
"Huh..." Luna was taken back; she gets awkward when people compliment her out of the blue and isn't sure what to say.
"Uh... A-arigato..." she blushed, looking down.
"Watashi wa Kayako desu. You must be Luna, it's so nice to meet you," Kayako introduced herself, bowing
"N-nice to meet you too..." Luna replied, fidgeting.
(So this is Ronnie's mom... she's kinda creepy...) she thought. Kayako had ashen skin, and her eyes were white with long narrow cat-like pupils.
"Please, make yourself at home," Kayako added. Just then, someone else came home.
"Tadaima," a different voice announced.
"Sounds like Xavier's home," Ronnie commented.
"Yo, what'd I miss?" Xavier popped into the scene with a coffin-shaped guitar case on his back.
"We'll talk about that later. Right now, we have guest," Sebastion told him. Xavier walked into the room, seeing Luna standing next to his little brother.
"Oh, I see. Ronnie bought his girlfriend over," He smirked.
"H-hey...!" Luna's entire face turned red.
(He's not my BOYFRIEND!) she thought. Luna didn't bother saying it cause she was too shy.
Ronnie giggled at Luna's cute reaction.
"Nice to see ya again, cutie," Xavier smiled, showing his sparkling, white, sharp fangs. By now, Luna's face was as red as a tomato.
"Aw..." Xavier quietly muttered. Ronnie decided to break the silence as Luna was getting embarrassed.
"How was band practice?" he asked.
"Eh, it went well. We got Sushi afterward. Edgar ended up meeting an old friend, so there's that," Xavier told them, setting his guitar down.
"So... Why is everyone standing in the hallway?" He asked.
"We'll discuss that later. I suggest we go in the living, where it's more comfortable," Sebastion suggested.
Luna, Ronnie, and Xavier are sitting on the living room sofa, while Sebastion and Kayako went to somewhere to talk
"Oi, brat, why don't you get us some sodas," Xavier suggested.
"Seriously? Can't you get them yourself?" Ronnie asked, annoyed.
"But's it all the way downstairs," Xavier whined. (Living room is on the third floor,)
"Give me one reason why I should go all the way downstairs just to get some Soda?" Ronnie asked. Xavier smirked, turning towards Luna.
"Oi, Luni, you wanna soda?" He asked her.
"Um... s-sure," Luna stuttered. Xavier turned back towards Ronnie, grinning.
"Ugh... Fine..." Ronnie walked away, grumbling.
"Bratom Idiotom..." he mumbled. Xavier watched Ronnie go downstairs, waiting until he was out of sight. He quietly chuckled, getting his vape out.
"You like anime?" He asked Luna.
"Ja..." Luna replied. Xavier put on Boku no Hero Academia. (Yes I did it, shut up)
"So... How's my little bro been treating you?" He asked, inhaling his vape.
"He's nice..." Luna shyly answer.
"You sure? If he's treating you badly I won't hesitate to kick his ass," Xavier joked. Luna awkwardly chuckled.
"Well... he is kind of annoying," She quietly admitted.
"Aa, well that's Ronnie for ya..." Xavier snickered.
"Alright then... Is there something you're too embarrassed to tell him?" he cunningly asked.
"W-why would you think that?" Luna sputtered, looking at Xavier, blushing
"Why not? If anything you're the only girl Ronnie shows interest in, not to mention, one of the only girls who isn't all over him," Xavier added.
"And probably the only girl he actually cares about. One day I found him in his bed, depressed cause he regrets something he did to you," He told Luna, not giving full detail, but she knew what he was talking about.
"Aa... treat Ronnie nicely, he doesn't have a good history with girls," he requested.
"I heard," Luna muttered.
"Oh and... Don't think I won't hurt ya cause you're a cute girl," Xavier suddenly had a dark, creepy look. Luna shuddered a little, in fear. Xavier noticed and just laughed it off, going back to his usual self.
"Ahah... cute..." He commented then went back to vaping.
(Ronnie's brother really cares about him... I wish my brother was like that...) Luna thought, sorrowfully. She feels like her siblings don't care about her, they just make fun of her, steal or throw her things away; she just wished they were good siblings, like they used to be. They just completely changed, out of the blue.
"Hm? What'cha thinking 'bout, cutie?" Xavier asked, noticing Luna's sad expression. She snapped out of her thoughts quickly.
"N-nothing... I... you have a lot of tattoos," Luna stumbled on her words.
"You like them?" Xavier smirked.
"Um... they're very cool..." She told him, looking away. Xavier had a few visible tattoos of rose's hearts, and those cool tribal tattoos on the arm.
"I have more than that," He said, lifting up his shirt to show Luna the rose tattoo on his six-pack abs.
"Whoa..." Luna softly exclaimed. She had to admit that the tattoo was very pretty.
"I'm back!" Ronnie announced as he walked into the room. Xavier quickly pulled his shirt down so Ronnie wouldn't think he was trying to seduce Luna.
"Took ya long enough, brat," Xavier snickered. Ronnie sighed in annoyance, handing Xavier a bottle of cherry soda, then sat down between Xavier and Luna, handing her one. Ronnie took a sip of his blood flavored monster drink, and got out a box of strawberry pocky.
"So what were you two talking about?" He asked.
"I was just asking Luna a few questions, nothing wrong with that," Xavier answered. Ronnie stared at him, suspicious.
"Calm down, I wasn't trying to seduce her or something," Xavier reassured, drinking his soda. Ronnie put his arm around Luna's shoulder, protectively. Meanwhile, Nyx was secretly hiding in Luna's shadow, giggling.
(I don't know who to ship anymore!)
