"So... what happened, exactly?" Blaze asked her husband and daughter.
"I was in the bathroom, washing my hands when Sasha came up to me. I told her to go away then she tried to slap me, so I grabbed her wrist," Luna explained her side of the story.
"I was in the middle of an autopsy when the principal called, so hurried over there," Gerhardt told his side. Blaze sighed. She's going to have to talk to this girl's parents. Luna went into her room, grabbing a book, and flopping onto her bed to read it.
"... Shadow..." She muttered. The month was getting too dramatic for Luna; Ronnie biting her, Sasha bullying her, and Shadow stealing her first kiss. What's next? Will Katrina challenges Luna to a duel? who knows. Luna closed her eyes, wondering if she'll dream about Retter.
Retter was somewhere in Asia, trying to find his way back to his home town. He was in a shop, getting some medicine; when he got outside, his horse was missing.
"GAAAAAAAHH GOTT VERDAMMT!" He groaned, he can't leave his horse out of his sight for 5 seconds without her disappearing to God knows where. He walked around the village, trying to find her but had no luck. He resorted to putting a missing poster, which was... interesting to be honest.
I lost my fucking horse:
She's pale with a black mane and keeps running away every 5 minutes, but I still love her, and I need her to travel because rolling around the fields is tiring. Her name is Hecate, she probably won't respond because she's a fake Lil bitch.
Retter stood back, looking at his unreadable missing poster.
"They're not gonna understand this..." He thought outloud. His writing looked liked sloppy, like a doctor's writing on a prescription.
"18... 19... 20..." Shadow counts, he was doing push-ups in his room. He collapsed onto the floor as soon as he reached 20, sweating bullets. He slowly sat up, panting, looking in the mirror. He grew muscle, but he always wore oversized clothes, so you couldn't tell. His family noticed a little, only because Shadow was actually eating more.
A few weeks later. Luna was feeling better so she was able to go back to school. Luna walked past the dark, empty music room, where someone was playing the guitar. She stopped, taking a peep inside the room, Shadow was playing "Never too late." on a black acoustic guitar.
(Shadow can play the guitar?) Luna thought. Shadow stopped playing, sensing someone watching him. Luna gasped, turning around so Shadow wouldn't see her peeking at him. Shadow knew Luna was around the corner, spying on him. He blushed; then continued practicing.
"What are you doing?" Ronnie asked, startling Luna. He saw her outside the music room door, blushing hard.
"N-nothing!" Luna said, still blushing.
"Really? Cause it looks like you were spying on Shadow," Ronnie told her.
"So what if I am? You got a problem with that?" Luna crossed her arms.
"Um, yes! I told you, Shadow is a creepy, antisocial, emo freak that never talks to anyone! Who knows what he could to do you?" Ronnie sputtered. Luna scowled at him.
"So what if he is? He's still a person, and I don't think he's that bad! Why do you even hate him so much? Maybe, if you got to know him, then you would understand how he feels," Luna retorted. Okay... maybe Shadow is a little creepy... and violent, considering that he took her first kiss, bit her, and freaked out Eclipse, but if he had someone to talk to then he might be... less emo. Ronnie was taken back by Luna's response.
"That doesn't mean he's not some kind of psychopath that could kill you," He replied.
"What the fuck, Ronnie? You're being paranoid; just because Shadow is weird doesn't mean he's a psychopath!" Luna lashed out at him. (He'd be more of a sociopath because he's emotionless...) Nyx said from Luna's shadow. It must be cool to have a psychologist in your head.
"Why do you even hate him so much? And don't give the "because he's emo" excuse! What did he do to make you hate him so much? Or are you just being a stereotypical jock or bad boy that just hates the emo kid for no good goddamn reason?!" She crossed her arms and glared at him. Ronnie just stood there, shocked. Luna is just as scary as Gerhardt when she's angry, maybe a little scarier. She took Ronnie's silence as a response, walking away from him. He watched Luna walk away from him, still unable to move.
"Need a bandage for that burn, Ronnie?" Shadow walked out of the music room, smirking at Ronnie. Ronnie still stood there, now shocked that Shadow spoke to him.
"...chto, chert Voz' mi, proiskhodit...?" He mutters to himself.
End of the school day. Luna opened her locker, finding a silver bracelet with a ruby heart in the middle, along with a short love letter. Luna blushed but then remembered that Ronnie could've done this.
"Luna...!" Ronnie called out. He walked over to Luna, who was annoyed with him.
"You're being annoying legendere, some stupid bracelet and love letter won't make me any less annoyed with you," Luna scowled.
"What are you talking about? I didn't give you anything," Ronnie told her. Luna showed him the bracelet and love note.
"I didn't give you that... Shadow..." Ronnie growled. Luna sighed.
"Again with Shadow? What's you're problem with him?" Luna asked.
"My problem...? Shadow's the problem, he gave you that bracelet, I can smell him on it!" Ronnie growled. The gem was rare, it had to power to track someone down and control them.
"Don't talk to him," Ronnie ordered. Luna softly growled.
"I'll talk to whoever the fuck I want! You can't control me!" Luna lashed out at him again. (Shadow will control you!) He thought. Luna grumbled, crushing the love note and tossing it in the trash.
"Talk to me when you're not a jealous asshole," Luna told him. Ronnie grabbed her from behind, pinning her to the lockers. They stared into each other's eyes (Like some twilight scene...) Ronnie shut his eyes, leaning closer to Luna only to get pushed away from each other by an irritated French teacher.
"No PDA in school!" Mr. Rivaile scolded.
"Sorry, Mr. Rivaile..." Said our favorite red-eyed girl.
Luna is staring into a lake, sighing. Her head hurt from all the Drama. First, Ronnie is actually a vampire and bites her. Then he breaks up with Sasha, causing Sasha to start bullying Luna with her friends. Then Sasha uses a love potion on Shadow; she tried slapping Luna in the bathroom, Shadow pulled her into an empty closet, telling her that Sasha poisoned him, steals her first kiss and bites her where Ronnie's bitemark was, making it bigger, it was too much.
"Why does this scene feel familiar...?" Luna asked.
Retter was going to his special spot, by the lake, when he arrived he saw a young girl with wavy chestnut hair, crying.
"Oi," He called out. Frieda turned around, startled.
"I-I 'm s-sorry, I didn't mean to take your s-spot," She
"Nein, It's nice to have company," He said.
"Here," He handed her an apple.
"Try it, I grew them myself," He said, taking a bite out of one. Frieda looked at the bright red apple, then took a small bite.
"Naja, How is it?" He asked.
"Juicy…" She quietly said. Retter smiled at her.
"What's your name?" He asked, sitting down next to her.
"F-Frieda,"
"I'm Retter," He answered.
"C-can we be f-frieunds?"
"Ja, that sounds nice," He said.
"So that's why..." Luna commented. She slumped down on the grass, she was enjoying these flashbacks of her ancestors. She'll have to do some research on this Retter guy, if there's enough, that is.
"Heh... wouldn't it be funny if Retter just popped out of my shadow like Nyx?" Luna asked herself.
"Like that would ever happen?" She scoffed. Suddenly, Luna's own Shadow just popped out in a solid form. She sat up, startled by this, her Shadow looked just like her, only everything was black and the eyes were glowing red.
"What the hell?" She muttered, staring at her shadow; who changed appearance. The skin was pale white and the hair was spiky black, the eyes looked the same, and there were weird scar-like markings on the face. Luna smiled, doing various hand motions, which the shadow copied. (I have to tell Nyx!) Luna thought, excited.
