"Alright, first, we make a Y incision, starting at the top of each shoulder and going down to the sternum" Gerhardt informed. He was currently performing an autopsy with a few med-school students, he painstakingly took a scalpel and made that Y incision. He made all the necessary incisions to reveal the chest cavity and did all the essential instructions to reveal the heart and lungs. His phone rang a few times but he ignored it, however, it rang again.
"Sounds important, G," the assistant said. Gerhardt sighed, putting his tools down and taking off the gloves so he could answer the phone.
"Hallo?" He said. It was the principal of Luna's school, calling because she got in trouble with Sasha.
"hm, Luna? What'd she do?" He asked. insert explanation for why Luna is in trouble.
"I doubt that. Look I'm in the middle of a post-mortem exam and it's more important than some stupid zero-tolerance policy shit," He said into the phone, annoyed. The principal started saying more things over the phone.
A loud moan could be heard, freaking the students and the principal out.
"Calm down, it's just a dead body, they do that all the time!" He scolded. The students slowly calmed down, getting back in their place.
"Give me one, good, reason why I have to leave in the middle of an autopsy?"
"G sounds pissed," A student commented, watching him on the verge of yelling in german.
"What? Why the fuck did you not say that first?"
"Oh yeah, some stupid popular girl getting a tiny bruise is more important than my daughter being in the nurse's office. I'll be there, give me 10-20 minutes," He scowled, wanting to give this lady a piece of his mind.
"I SAID! I'll be there, in 20 minutes, gott how dense are you?" He scoffed, hanging up on the Principal. He walked back over to the autopsy table, ready to continued where he left off.
"Sorry about that, apparently my daughter hit a popular girl even though she's in the nurse's office for some reason," He told them, putting his gloves and mask back on. The other students were kinda on edge, while Gerhardt was talking on the phone, he was giving off a dark atmosphere.
"Wow doc, you care a lot about your daughter," A student awkwardly commented.
"Of course I do, she's my shatzen, so I try to be the best father I can be for her," Gerhardt commented.
(I want her to have a loving father, even though I didn't have one...) He thought.
Gerhardt sat at the table with his mother, Raven, waiting for his brother to come home from his photoshoot. Gerhardt was lost in thought, during his class, someone was talking about how awesome their dad is, which made him jealous. Raven has been a single mother ever since he was born, she did everything to make sure he and his brother, Nathaniel had the best life.
"Mom... w-what was dad like?" He looked up, rubbing his eyes because they were a bit blurry. Raven paused at his question. In high school, she met this guy and they dated for a while. when she was 19 she ended up getting pregnant with Nathaniel and ran away from home, when he was born the boyfriend accused her of cheating because Nathaniel had his mother's feature, but nothing from his father. Raven looked at her youngest son, wanting to cry.
"He... He wasn't anyone special, just some plain guy I met in high school," She said.
"Do I look like him?" Gerhardt asked. Raven sharply inhaled.
"Nein... the only thing you got from him was your black eyes, but yours are much darker than his," She answered.
(You look like your grandfather without the blue streaks.) Raven thought, one of her midnight-blue streaks came out of place from her raven black hair.
"G, I know you want a father, but whatever you do, don't go looking for him, please. I was young and dumb, he was a liar and only cared about himself. Trust me, I want you to be happy, follow your dreams, and meet a girl that will love you no matter what," Raven told him. Gerhardt nodded in response.
The next day, around 6:30 pm, Gerhardt decided to go to the park, wanting to get out of the house. While he was walking, he bumped into a girl, who looked to be college.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't see you," He frantically apologized.
"Calm down, it's fine, kiddo," a familiar-sounding voice said.
"M-mom?" He blurted out.
"Huh... Do I look like your mother?" The girl asked, sounding a little offended. He backed up so the girl wouldn't look so blurry, and she actually looked exactly like his mother, only with a full head of midnight blue hair and rounder dark purple eyes.
"J-Ja..." He stuttered. The girl looked surprised, there were a few times she was mistaken for her sister when she became a teenager. She looked closer at the kid before noticing something.
(He kinda looks like dad, but without the blue streaks, and his eyes are black.)
"Raven was nearsighted..." She thought out loud.
"That's my mom's name," He replied. The girl stared at him for a bit, comparing his features.
"Nyx," She told him.
"I'm Gerhardt,"
"Whaddya say we go get some pretzels?" She suggested.
Tante Annies, number pretzel place, and Nyx's favorite restaurant. She and Gerhardt are sitting in the outdoor area of the place, Nyx gave Gerhardt her emergency glasses she kept on her in case she got extremely sick.
"Whoa!" He exclaimed, taking in the overwhelming sight.
"How do ya feel?" Nyx asked, taking a bite from her cinnamon pretzel bites.
"Amazing, I can see you clearly!" He exclaimed, smiling.
"I'll get an ophthalmologist appointment for you soon, right now, I want to see ray-ray again," Nyx told him.
"What does that mean?" Gerhardt asked. Nyx smirked, in excitement.
"I'm moving in with you," She announced. (Or the other way around)
"Wouldn't it be hilarious if you showed up looking like you just finished an autopsy?" The assistant joked.
"The principal would be freaked out," Another student joked. Gerhardt paused, coming up with a plan.
"That sounds like a good idea," He smirked, slyly.
Luna is sitting in the principal's office, nervously fidgeting. Sasha was fake crying, telling the principal a different story than what actually happened.
"Th-then she called me names and s-she grabbed my wrist like she wanted t-t-to break it!" Sasha fake cried. Her father was scolding Luna, saying things about her anger issues, and his daughter is an innocent angel(DEMON!)
"That's not what happened!" Luna interjected, trying to defend herself.
"Save it Discord! your father will be here soon, then you can talk. Unfortunately, he seemed angry at me," The principal scolded her.
"He was probably in the middle of an autopsy-"
"I Said You're not allowed-"
"Ich bin hier! Hundinnen!" Gerhardt burst through the door in his black scrubs which were covered in blood, smelling like a rotting corpse. He looked like a Doctor who is also a murderer.
"What the hell?!" Sasha's dad exclaimed, frightened.
"Oh my! Mr. Discord, what is the meaning of this," The Principal demanded to know. She was a little scared as well,
"Ok first off, don't call me Mister, it sounds weird, secondly, I was in the middle of an autopsy, and lastly, don't give me that attitude, Mrs. Simon! I should be the angry one here!" Gerhardt shouted at her in a fuming rage.
"Now, what happened with my daughter?" He sat down next to her, crossing his arms.
"I was in the bathroom, talking to my friends and she grabbed my wrist out of nowhere and made me fall down! It still hurts! then she called me something insulting and threatened me and my friends" Sasha cried, not as scared as the adults(Bad choice Sasha) Gerhardt read her face and knew she was lying.
"She's obviously lying. Luna, what's your story?" Gerhardt turned and asked her.
"I was in the bathroom, washing my hands when Sasha tried to slap me, so I grabbed her wrist and twisted because that's how it goes, then I left the bathroom," Luna gave her side of the story.
"No, She's lying!" Sasha accused, pointing at Luna.
"Luna's telling the truth," A voice said. It was Nyx, she hopped out of Luna's Shadow, stretching her hands out.
"Oh god, two freaks..." The principal muttered.
"We can read lips ya know," Nyx said, making the principal shut up.
"Well, Luna's obviously telling the truth, and Nyx witnessed the whole thing," Gerhardt shrugged. His expression changed, becoming more serious.
"But I'm not done, yet. There's one more thing I want to know," He stared straight into Mrs. Simon's eyes, he then looked at Luna once again.
"Why were you in the Nurse's office?" He asked.
"I almost passed out while I was heading to class," Luna admitted. Gerhardt's pupils shrunk, he started going frantic.
"What? you almost passed out? what happened after that? how did you get into the Nurse's office? Do you feel any better? Do you need a stress dose? Should I get you in the ER?"
"DAD!" Luna interrupted.
"I feel better, a friend caught me and took me to the nurse so I could rest," She reassured. Gerhardt calmed down a little. He turned back to the Principal, glaring at her.
"Why didn't you tell me Luna almost passed out?" He menacingly asked. The Principal began stuttering, looking all over the place, unable to answer. Gerhardt stood up, grabbing Luna's hand.
"I'm going, you're lucky my wife isn't here," He told them, leaving the room.
"If it was Blaze then you'd probably be dead before you could blink," Nyx told them, chuckling a little then started following her Nephew and Niece.
