The driver couldn't have driven away any faster, he was obviously trying to escape from whatever this situation was. The situation being the two men sitting on the side of the road resting on each other. They slept without a care in the world, slept like they weren't on the sidewalk in the middle of the bloody night. I could strip them naked, steal all their things and sell them and they wouldn't object. I scratched my head, looking at my apartment building of over 20 floors.
