Marco nodded; "A lifetime of groveling and living off of others' will do that. He was never fit to be a king, to be honest. And his son isn't any better, either..
"After I've established my own branch within their government and nobility, I'll just kill off the Medici family for good. At least the main branch, anyway. It'll serve as an example to the rest of them to do as they're told."
"Since we're being honest, their people are probably in better hands, being in yours, hermano," Victor stated as he straightened out his shirt.

Before he could finish speaking, a loud thud came from the throne room doors before Draco entered, and called out; "Forgive me, My King, but it's nearly time. We must leave now for your preparations."
